It's been a long 8 months of Free Food Tuesday's, daily digital outreach, sexual health information, Free HIV screenings, Prep Navigation assistance, transportation services and our signature housing project The House of LOVE (Living Out loud, Validated and Empowered).

Arkansas RAPPS based at the Living Room Wellness Resource Center has been open 5 days a week for the past 246 days of 2026 and yes, there was lots of weekend work to add to this mix.

If was to be done, we made it happen and with that we look forward to the 4th quarter of the year celebrating our accomplishments and goals into the new year.

So with that said, we will be closed for the Labor Day weekend and will pick up where we left off next week! Be safe and stay ready!

We are always happy to share job opportunities or other possible educational or career leads with you.

We are clear that the postings are from outside sources and we fully promote contacting them directly for all information. Today, we received another opportunity which firmly stated the following:

"I'm looking for someone who is good with people, comfortable on the phone, organized, tech-savvy, and doesn't need to be told what to do every five minutes. Serious Inquiries only."

In this job market and economy, it's extremely important that each applicant understand their strengths and weakness in applying for your next job.

Be clear about what the job is asking and how can you be an "asset," to the company, organization or firm that grants you your next interview.

Watch this space for more updates and postings. Also don't forget that Prep is for everybody and you can get you started at www.qcareplus.com/arrapps

Arkansas RAPPS joins colleagues around the nation on the commemoration of NFHAAD which is an annual observance designed to engage faith communities across the United States in HIV/AIDS education, prevention, treatment, care, and support.

It aims to reduce stigma and discrimination and to foster unity among people of faith in the fight against the HIV epidemic. We at Arkansas RAPPS and The Strilite Foundation have been steadfast in our efforts to provide linkage to care, Prep access and addressing the issue of "Housing as Prevention," through our House of LOVE project.

This day also encourages faith leaders and congregations to learn about HIV funding and to take action to sustain and expand prevention, treatment, and care services.

We encourage all faith leaders to reach out to [email protected] about how your congregation can be involved in reducing new HIV infections across the state.

At Arkansas RAPPS, we are determined to keep fact-based info and evidenced-based materials posted across our digital spaces. If you need access to linkage to care navigation reach out www.qcaraeplus.com/arrapps

We are encouraged as well as applaud all breakthroughs and updates to the care continuum. This new modality has been developed for people on complex, multi-pill regimens, Bixlenvo could be a once-daily, single-pill option could simplify HIV treatment.

“It represents another important step forward in the evolution of two-drug regimens, offering heavily treatment-experienced people with HIV and those on complex ART regimens an opportunity to simplify to a potent two-drug regimen,” says HIV specialist.
