Shout out to all the entrepreneurs, parents, business owners, moms, grinders, people in school, people doing it alone, people doing it with a team. You know who you are. You’re the people that get s**t done and make s**t happen.

This is all about a grit mindset. Many of us have the same opportunities as the people around us but some how others do more with their time. We all have the same amount of time given in each and every day what matters is what we choose to do at that time.

You can choose to build or you can choose to complain
You can choose to invest, or you can choose to have a scarcity
You can choose gratitude, or you can choose a victim mindset
You can choose resilience or you can choose failure

So much of what happens in our life is about what happens next. How do you respond? What do you do with your suffering? What do you do with your trials?

I am committed to living my best life out every single day. Tomorrow is not guaranteed.

If only there was a specialist for our mental health struggles 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Tooth hurts? You call the dentist. 🦷
Pipe is leaking? You call the plumber.
Kid is struggling in math? You get a tutor.
Car making a noise? Straight to the mechanic.

Brain completely overwhelmed, anxious, dysregulated, can’t focus, can’t sleep and running on cortisol and caffeine?

“Maybe I just need a new morning routine.” 😂

For some reason, when it comes to our mental health, we’ll try 47 different Band-Aids before calling someone who actually specializes in the problem.

And listen—we love the walks, the supplements, the podcasts, the journaling and the cold plunges. They can all be great tools.

But sometimes you need professional help.

A licensed counselor can help you understand patterns, process experiences and build healthier ways of thinking and responding.

Neurofeedback works from another angle—helping train the brain toward better regulation and more flexible patterns of activity.

You wouldn’t keep putting duct tape over a leaking pipe and call it plumbing.

Stop expecting yourself to DIY everything happening inside your brain. 🧠

Sometimes the strongest, smartest thing you can do is call the professional.

our brain needs training too. 🧠

Think about the gym: you don’t do one workout and expect to be stronger forever. You build strength through repetition, consistency, and gradually teaching your body to perform differently.

Neurofeedback works on a similar principle—but instead of training your muscles, you’re training your brain.

With remote neurofeedback, you can train from the comfort of your own home while working toward greater brain stability, flexibility, and regulation. Your brain receives real-time feedback that helps it practice healthier, more efficient patterns over time.

And the best part? You don’t have to add another appointment or drive across town. You can literally train your brain from your couch. 🙌🏼

We spend so much time strengthening our bodies. Maybe it’s time we started training the organ running the whole show.

Strong body. Regulated brain. Better life. 🧠💪🏼

Try to be dancing and angry or anxious at the same time- it’s not possible haha I’ve tried!!!! Dancing is such a powerful reset for the brain

Movement is one of the most underrated tools we have for changing how we FEEL.

When you move—especially when you combine movement with music, rhythm and connection—you’re engaging brain systems involved in dopamine, serotonin, endorphins and stress regulation. Translation: motivation, mood, pleasure and that I actually feel like myself again feeling. Research on dance specifically has found benefits for mood, cognition, memory and emotional well-being.

And you don’t need a 60-minute workout.

Even a single session of moderate-to-vigorous movement can reduce feelings of anxiety, improve sleep and provide immediate benefits to the brain. Over time, regular physical activity is associated with a lower risk of depression, cognitive decline and dementia.

The general goal for adults is 150 minutes of moderate movement per week—but some movement is always better than none. And yes, dancing counts.

So walk. Lift. Run. Dance terribly in your kitchen. Put music on while you get ready. Take the stairs. Move your body when your brain feels stuck.

We spend a lot of time trying to THINK our way into feeling better.

Sometimes your brain needs you to MOVE first. 🧠💃🏼

Prioritize movement—not just for your body, but for your brain

Mental health is wild because you can love Jesus, know all the nervous system regulation tools, understand your own brain… and still have a full crash out before 9am. 😂

Healing doesn’t mean you never get anxious, overwhelmed, triggered or have a bad moment. It means you get better at not letting one moment become an entire day.

Feel it. Regulate. Pray. Take accountability if you need to. Reset.

Because I’m becoming very aware that the enemy would LOVE for me to take one hard conversation, one anxious thought or one frustrating morning and use it to ruin the next 12 hours.

Not today, Satan. 😂

Protect your peace. Take your thoughts captive. And remember: a bad 20 minutes does not have to become a bad day.

Sometimes mental health looks less like “I’m completely healed” and more like “I recovered faster this time.”

And I think that counts.

Oh. And reminder to stay prayed up and grab that Bible. The best weapon

Your brain is not hardwired. It’s constantly being remodeled and constantly under construction 💪🏼💪🏼

That’s neuroplasticity — your brain’s ability to create, strengthen and reorganize neural pathways based on what you repeatedly think, experience and do.

Think of it like walking through tall grass.

The first time you take a new path, it’s awkward and difficult. But the more you walk the same route, the clearer and easier that path becomes.

Your brain works similarly.

The thoughts you repeatedly think.
The reactions you repeatedly have.
The habits you repeatedly practice.
The environments you repeatedly expose yourself to.

Your brain gets better at what you practice — even when what you’re practicing isn’t necessarily good for you.

And THAT is the exciting part.

You can practice a different response.
Build a healthier habit.
Learn to regulate instead of react.
Challenge an old belief.
Create new patterns after trauma.

It doesn’t happen overnight, and neuroplasticity doesn’t mean we can simply “think our way” out of everything. But it does mean your past experiences don’t have to permanently dictate your future patterns.

Repetition builds pathways. Intentional repetition builds new ones.

Your brain is listening to what you practice. Give it something worth getting good at. 🧠✨

Some reminders I need just as much as anyone else.

Being a business owner, a mom, a wife, a friend—and still trying to be a whole human in the middle of all of it—means there are a lot of days when I have to remind myself of what I already know.

Protect your peace like it’s one of the most valuable things you own.

Healing isn’t linear. Neither is growth.

Surround yourself with people who challenge you to rise, not people who make you shrink to keep them comfortable.

Consistency today creates freedom tomorrow.

And maybe the hardest one for me: let go of what no longer serves you so you actually have room for what’s meant for you.

I’m ambitious. I expect a lot from myself. I love deeply, work hard, mother hard, and have spent a lot of my life believing that if I just tried harder, communicated better, gave more, or carried a little more, I could somehow make everything work.

But growth has also looked like learning what isn’t mine to carry.

You can be driven without living in survival mode.
You can love people without losing yourself.
You can be a great mom without being perfect.
You can build something big without sacrificing your peace to do it.
And you can change your mind about what you’re willing to tolerate along the way.

I teach a lot about the brain, behavior and regulation—but knowing something intellectually and actually living it are two very different things.

So yes, sometimes the reminders are for me too. 🤍
