There is something special about watching a community grow. Over the past several years, DustOff Yoga has become so much more than a place to take a class. It has become a place where people come to move, breathe, rest, connect, learn, and simply be human together. As our community continues to expand, it feels like the right time to open our doors to a few new instructors. We’re looking for Yoga and Qigong teachers who are warm, compassionate, reliable, and genuinely passionate about supporting others. Teachers who understand that what happens in a class extends far beyond movement alone.

While experience is certainly valued, we also believe in mentorship and growth. You do not need to arrive with extensive training in trauma-informed teaching, accessibility, or mental health-focused practices. Opportunities for learning, mentorship, and professional development are available here. What matters most is a willingness to learn, an openness to feedback, and a desire to contribute to a supportive community.

DustOff Yoga has never been about perfect poses or performance. It is about real people, real lives, and creating space for each person to participate in a way that feels meaningful and supportive to them. We are especially interested in connecting with instructors who feel aligned with our values of accessibility, compassion, curiosity, community, and lifelong learning.

If this resonates with you, we’d love to hear from you. Send us a message, tell us a little about yourself, and let’s start a conversation.

“When you roll out your mat, you roll out a space for healing.” That line has stayed with me. Not because healing is the only reason we come to yoga, but because most of us are carrying something ~ whether it’s stress, grief, a tired body, a busy mind, or simply the need to step away from the noise for a little while. These practices have a quiet, powerful way of meeting us right where we are. They’ve certainly done that for me over the years, and they’re a large part of why DustOff Yoga exists today.

This week we’re excited to return to our full schedule and welcome the start of our summer offerings:
• New Thursday morning CONNECTED class
• Monday evening rotation of Sound Bath & NSDR Meditation
• Summer Sanctuary Mini Retreats beginning this month

We’ve also enhanced the River Room with a new PEMF mat and neurofeedback sessions — wonderful additions for deeper rest and nervous system support. Keep a lookout for the coming announcements of these exciting features as we continue to grow the Integration Suite.

After the past few weeks, my heart is full of gratitude for this community that shows up with such kindness and care ~ for yourselves and for one another. I’m especially thankful to be back teaching more regularly and sharing these practices that have supported me through it all.

Whether you’re moving through something heavy or simply seeking steadiness, there’s a place for you here. Take a moment and scroll through this weeks offerings for a practice that resonates with you ~ I look forward to seeing you on the mat this week!

I’m still away resting and recharging and will return to the studio on May 30. I’m so grateful to our incredible teaching team for holding space and lovingly supporting our commUNITY during this gentler week.

In observance of Memorial Day, the studio will be closed on Monday as we pause to honor and remember the men and women of our Armed Forces who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. Their courage and service are deeply held in our hearts.

Even with a lighter schedule, we’re closing out May with two beautiful offerings:

Candlelight Tea Ceremony with Elen Rose ~ Friday, May 29
Blue Moon Sound Bath ~ Sunday, May 31

I’m happy to share that our new Summer Schedule begins June 1. Along with many of the classes you love, we’re adding a new Thursday morning class at 9:00am and introducing Monday evening NSDR sessions, alternating with Sound Baths throughout the summer, and what I’m most excited about…

The Summer Sanctuary Mini Retreat Series is now officially on the calendar. These thoughtfully curated three-hour experiences will weave together movement, rest, reflection, sound, tea, and special River Room moments into a deeply nourishing seasonal reset. Think of them as a gentle invitation to step out of daily life and spend intentional time reconnecting with yourself.

There are also a few more beautiful additions coming to the River Room that I’ll be sharing very soon!

Thank you, as always, for supporting this little studio sanctuary and the commUNITY that continues to grow here. I’m looking forward to returning, sharing everything that’s been unfolding behind the scenes, and welcoming you into a beautiful, restorative summer season together.

Good morning friends. As many of you know, last week I guided Eevee to rest. As a service dog, Eevee helped me navigate the world in ways most never saw, and her absence feels immense and it continues to be an incredibly difficult adjustment. Because of that, I’ll be stepping back from my regular teaching schedule for the next few weeks to grieve and slowly find my footing again. The studio will remain open with adjusted classes and the wonderful support of our teaching team.

I’m so deeply grateful for this commUNITY’s outpouring of love, stories, messages, and kindness over these past days. Your care for both Eevee and me has meant more than words can say, it is because of your encouragement and love that I am able to honor what I need in these moments.

With Gratitude,
Jennifer (& always) Eevee 🐾

🐾 Today is a heavy day. Eevee, her name means Life’s Evolution, and I cannot begin to form the words that would encompass all that she is and the part she has played in my own healing evolution, but also with the growth and shifts within the DustOff commUNITY. I know our time together has always been borrowed…. Now our roles have shifted and it is time for me to lead Eevee to rest. Today is her last day in the studio sanctuary. If you are here for classes there are bags of treats at the counter and you are welcome to offer her one, but please continue to be mindful of her space. 🐾♥️🇺🇸

Looking for a new practice or perhaps you’ve experienced the quiet solace of tea ceremony with Elen…. We’ll wager that this is just what you are needing in these turbulent times… Please join us in the studio sanctuary this Friday at 7:00pm for the moving meditation of Cha Dao. 🌱 The invitation of tea in ceremony is to sit long enough for the surface to quiet and to allow the movement of thoughts to slow. It is a meditative bridge that acts as an ally to those trying to begin a meditation practice, as well as to the seasoned meditator looking to further the meditative mind. Tea is the bridge built of Zen.

Spaces are coveted so you are encouraged to save your place for this special pop up event!!

What if your body wasn’t something you had to fix or improve…but something you could finally listen to? What if your own inner sense of what feels right was the most important voice in the room? No performing. No pushing. Just permission to show up exactly as you are ~ breathing, moving, resting in whatever way feels accessible to you.
This is trauma-informed yoga. A very special studio space where you choose your pace, where your boundaries are respected, and you are encouraged to come home to yourself.
