Is your child struggling in school or needing specific support?

I offer comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for children and adolescents aged 4 through young adults in college to help families understand their unique learning profile and access the accommodations they deserve.

As a licensed School Psychologist with over 17 years of experience, I specialize in identifying and providing support for:

*Learning Differences: Dyslexia, Dyscalculia, Dysgraphia, and other challenges in reading, writing, and math.
*Attention & Focus: ADHD and Executive Functioning challenges.
*Accommodations: Updated evaluations to support necessary accommodations for testing and coursework.
*Neurodivergence: Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
*Giftedness and twice-exceptional learners.

What to Expect:

For psychoeducational evaluations, you can expect a flat rate based on the assessment type (basic screening to determine if additional evaluation is warranted to a full comprehensive evaluation). The fee covers covers all testing, a detailed report (written with the intention of being accepted by schools), diagnosis (if warranted from the data of a comprehensive evaluation), and recommendations for accommodations and strategies.

I also do play-based counseling with children 4 through 16 focusing on twice exceptionalities and general, social and/or performance anxiety. Sessions are about 50 minutes weekly, every other week, or monthly sessions.

I offer flexible scheduling with many appointments in the evenings (4pm) and on Saturdays for evaluations, with some daytime availability in the summer as well. Play based counseling sessions are typically in the evenings, with some flexibility during the summer. While I do not work with insurance, many families successfully use HSA/FSA health accounts.

I am seeking families with kids 3 to 5 years old as well as early elementary aged (K-3) who might be interested in a weekly small play group in June and July. This would be meant for kids who attend school during the school year but do not attend any school/daycare in the summer. This can include kids with IEPs and typically developing kids.

Parents of children ages 4 - 18 interested in helping with the development/standardization/norming for a questionnaire related to trauma: A company I contract with is seeking parents willing to complete a questionnaire about school trauma. For students ages 8-18, they are also seeking self reports from the child themselves. For students 4-18, they are hoping for teacher participation as well. There are options for Amazon gift cards for your participation, your child's self rating, and for teachers as well. All questionnaires are online, so anyone can complete these (CO, NJ, or wherever you may be based!).

The caveat is that the student must have been in in-person learning for the last 30 days. I know there are some students that this will apply to them in another week or so, some it may not.
