CURE Medical Centre Run

CURE Hospital has been a valued health partner of Musana for years. Together, we have organized health camps to support children living with hydrocephalus and connect them to the medical care they need.

We were happy to participate in the 10th annual CURE Run in Mbale, an initiative aimed at raising funds to support brain surgeries for children.

Our high school students participated in the National Girl Award Championship in Kampala. The event aimed to promote leadership and innovation among girls.

Following the preliminary sessions, our students were selected to participate in the grand finale where they presented a poem titled “Let Her Speak, Let Her Lead.”

The event was graced by the Guest of Honour, Dr. Mercy Lakisa, Minister of State for Youth and Children Affairs.

We are proud of our students for using their voices to inspire change.

Flashback Friday: Run for Change 2026 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

In April, Musana joined One Heart in Eldoret, Kenya, for the annual Run for Change.

Together, we ran to raise funds to support the restoration and education of children in Eldoret.

Behind every success story, there’s a teacher.

Teachers have been with us from the very beginning, teaching us how to hold a pencil, pronounce words, and so much more. We fell in love with particular subjects and were inspired to dream and pursue specific professions simply because of how the teachers of those subjects made us feel.

Musana joins the world and UNESCO in celebrating World Teachers’ Day under the theme, “Standing with teachers: 60 years of protecting the profession, advancing its status and shaping our futures.”

To the 331 teachers at Musana and to every teacher, thank you for inspiring, encouraging, and believing in us.

Our uniforms are made right here in the community by Musana’s production department, which employs skilled women, many of whom are graduates of MEC.
Their craftsmanship doesn’t just help our students look their best—it represents skills put into action, women empowered through meaningful employment, and opportunities created within the community.
