Sibling conflict can feel constant, but it’s not a sign you’re doing something wrong.

These moments are where kids learn how to handle big emotions, relationships, and repair.

When we shift how we respond, everything underneath starts to change.

If this is something your family is navigating right now, you’re not alone 🤍

What actually happens in a play therapy session?

If you’ve ever wondered “Are they just playing?”—you’re not alone.

Play is how children process emotions, build regulation, and make sense of their world. What looks simple on the outside is actually where some of the deepest work happens.

When children feel safe, understood, and supported, that’s when real change begins.

If you’re curious what this could look like for your child, we’re here to help 💛

Play is your child’s natural language.

It’s how they process emotions, experiences, and the world around them.

And the most powerful part?
You don’t need special tools—you just need connection.

These simple shifts can make a big difference over time.

If you want more ideas, we shared 5 play therapy tools you can start using at home. 💛

Meet Kayleigh 🤍

Kayleigh brings a thoughtful and grounded approach to working with children and families. Her background supporting adults through trauma and life transitions allows her to see not just what a child is experiencing, but how it connects to the entire family system.

Using a Synergetic Play Therapy™ approach, she helps children build regulation, express emotions, and feel safe in their bodies. When appropriate, she also integrates EMDR to support deeper healing in a way that is developmentally appropriate.

She believes parents are a vital part of the process and works closely with them to build confidence and understanding at home.

If your family is looking for support, we’re here 🤍

Ever wonder what a play therapy space actually looks like?

The environment matters. Our office is designed to feel safe, calm, and welcoming; a place where children can explore big feelings through play and where parents can exhale a little too.

Before the work begins, safety begins.

If you’ve been curious about what therapy might feel like for your child, here’s a peek inside. 💛

Becoming a Certified Synergetic Play Therapist™ goes far beyond basic licensure.

In addition to being licensed mental health professionals, Certified SPT therapists complete 2–2.5 years of focused study in this specific model, including 117 hours of specialized training and 20 additional hours of consultation dedicated solely to Synergetic Play Therapy™.

This neuroscience-informed approach integrates nervous system regulation, attachment theory, mindfulness, and the therapeutic power of play to support deep emotional healing.

It’s an investment in doing this work with skill, intention, and integrity. 💛
