Evidence Based Birth® Workshop:

Many expecting parents *know* what kind of care they want during their birth, but in the end they don’t know how to get it!

Evidence Based Birth® workshop for expecting parents, taught by Stacy Hattori will help you get what you want very first!

You will learn the Six Essential Steps of HOW to get evidence based care during your birth.

What will be covered in the workshop? We will talk all about evidence based care—what it is, what it isn’t, and how to talk with your provider about it! You will also learn how to make sure your birth setting and provider will be supportive of your wishes, and how to educate yourself and gather your support team. Also, you will learn about the legal rights of people giving birth, and this is information every expecting parent absolutely must know, period.

The workshop will be a small, interactive class with plenty of opportunity for discussion and questions. Refreshments will be provided.

This Evidence Based Birth® Workshop does not replace childbirth education classes. Instead, the resources you will gain at this workshop are the missing link for those of you who want evidence based care but are worried about your wishes and decisions not being respected when you actually go into labor.

Moms and their birth partner are invited to attend! Don't wait to register--this class is open to only 6 couples in the East Bay. Note: This event is open to parents only—not to birth or health care professionals.
Cost: $125 for the 3.5 hour class. The next workshop is January 9, 2016 from 2-5:30pm in Oakland, Ca.
