Last month, our friends at Rutgers Athletics honored 7-year-old Jonah as their Shining Knight of the Game! Jonah recently faced a recurring health issue that left him under the care of Dr. Uzma Hasan and Dr. Marla Guzman, both part of the Children’s Health Network of RWJBarnabas Health.

His family shared that they went above and beyond, providing exceptional kindness, thorough treatment, and constant communication across every office visit, phone call, and message.

Thanks to this dedicated team, Jonah's family felt completely supported during a challenging time. We are thrilled to share that Jonah is in great shape, doing well, and successfully starting his new school year adventures!

Ultrasounds are for so much more than seeing beautiful, growing babies! Congratulations to Michelle Ridore, RN, Post Anesthesia Care Unit, our newest DAISY Award Honoree!

Michelle was nominated by a grateful mother who was completely overwhelmed after her daughter’s major surgery. Seeing her child hooked up to machines, the mother burst into tears. Michelle immediately stepped in with a warm, caring hug and stayed by the family's side, guiding them through the hospital corridors and reassuring them every step of the way until they were safely settled in their room.
