Tonight, the night before our scheduled last day of business, my investor showed up at my shop with a police officer and one of his employees. He demanded to clear out ‘$20,000 worth of product’ and in the process his employee physically attacked my husband, and took PERSONAL ITEMS, including but not limited to military memorabilia… 
We still had days left in our contract to resolve things, but instead of letting us close on our own terms, he forced this chaotic and humiliating scene. This kind of behavior is only tolerated because he was born and raised in this town, and people let him get away with it.
We deserve the chance to say goodbye to our community and end things with dignity. Instead, this was taken from us in the most unprofessional way possible.
