Two years ago on Father’s Day, Apple Crest Dental sponsored a local Eagle Scout Project centered around hurricane relief. With the help of the community, the scout sought to collect hygiene and baby products for the victims of Hurricane Harvey in Houston, Texas. As a result of generous giving, the Eagle Scout Project well exceeded expectations, and the pallets of donations were safely received. We wanted to share this story to reaffirm the strength of our community. Though social distancing has disrupted many civic events such as this, the power of doing good for others continues everyday. Happy Father’s Day!

In recognition of Children’s Dental Health Month, Apple Crest Dental was invited to educate the children of the Livonia Learning Tree with a discussion in dental health. The class viewed a special program, “Sugarbug Doug,” regarding the dangers of plaque, acids and improper tooth brushing. By teaching the next generation about health benefits, such as these; Apple Crest Dental hopes to provide children with an ample measure in “smile insurance” for years to come!
