A token economy is a positive reinforcement system where children earn tokens for demonstrating desired behaviors. Once they’ve earned enough tokens, they can exchange them for a reward that’s meaningful to them. 🎉

The best part? This strategy isn’t just for therapy, it can be used at home, too! Whether you’re working on brushing teeth, cleaning up toys, completing homework, or following directions, a simple token system can make practicing new skills more engaging.
