Back pain is one of the most common reasons people visit their doctor.
One of the biggest mistakes? Stopping all movement and waiting for it to get better.
In many cases, gentle, guided movement can be an important part of recovery.
I teamed up with Brent Hasler, DPT ( )at in Livonia to demonstrate a few simple movements that may be used early in treatment for low back pain.
Remember: not all back pain is the same. Persistent pain, pain traveling down the leg, numbness, weakness, or worsening symptoms should be evaluated.
