A calm physical environment works hand in hand with clinical therapy to support sustainable recovery.

Our 200-acre ranch provides clinically cultivated land designed to give patients space to quiet their minds and regulate their nervous systems. Integrating outdoor movement and equine therapy alongside structured clinical sessions helps residents step away from daily chaos and focus entirely on getting well.

Billy Young has seen addiction treatment from every angle over his 40-year career.

Today, he helps lead Plum Creek as co-owner and managing partner, working on campus alongside our clinical team. Having private, local leadership allows us to make decisions right here based on what people need.

Finding the right treatment center can take time, especially for individuals who have tried treatment before.

We aim to provide a steady, grounded environment where patients feel respected and supported from day one. We are grateful to Jake for sharing his experience and proud to see him building long-term stability in recovery.

Isolation is a killer in recovery. In treatment, we provide a safe space to start healing, but long-term success relies on what happens next.

As Alumni Coordinator Patrick Phinney emphasized in our recent feature, true recovery requires shifting from a medical environment back into a real routine. The best way to make that transition stick is through constant connection. We build this bridge directly into your continuing care plan, whether that means moving into sober living, staying involved in intensive outpatient care, or plugging into our alumni network.

When you leave the campus, finding a home group, getting a sponsor, and building a service commitment keep you grounded for the long haul. Starting your recovery here means you never have to navigate that transition alone.

Daily life at the ranch runs on steady consistency, respect, and the people who show up ready to support our community. We are proud to recognize Recovery Support Staff (RSS) Cat as our June Employee of the Month.

Cat joined our team in August 2024. Our recovery support team is on the ground with residents every day, keeping the rhythm of the ranch safe and structured. Cat does this work by treating every patient with dignity, kindness, and professionalism. Her reliability and positive attitude make a real difference for both her coworkers and the people in our care.

Please join us in thanking Cat for her commitment and celebrating her hard work!

In early sobriety, a person's own head can become a dangerous place to spend too much time alone. While residential treatment offers a safe, protected space to begin healing, returning home means taking responsibility every day for maintaining that recovery in the real world.

As Alumni Coordinator, Patrick Phinney knows firsthand how easily old habits can fill the silence when a person starts to isolate. True accountability means building a solid circle of peers who know your values and are willing to tell you the truth when you need to hear it most.

At Plum Creek Recovery Ranch, we don't expect our graduates to walk that path by themselves. From coordinating stable sober living arrangements to hosting weekly alumni meetings and regular community check-ins, our goal is to build a permanent, reliable anchor for long-term wellness.

Patrick shared his perspective on why peer accountability serves as an act of love, how families can spot the early warning signs of isolation, and what it looks like to transition from treatment into a stable, thriving life: https://www.plumcreekrecoveryranch.com/news/beyond-the-ranch-why-connection-is-the-only-way-forward

Healing the brain requires a change of environment. At Plum Creek, our 200-acre working ranch serves as an active, peaceful space designed to get people grounded, out of the traditional counselor's office, and into real recovery.

Nature is built directly into our therapeutic model. We step outside the traditional therapist's office so our patients can experience true quietness, somatic regulation, and authentic reflection.

Recovery is rarely a journey walked alone. As our CEO, Jon Obenoskey, shares from his own experience, a dedicated support system is often the turning point in sustainable healing.

Yet when a loved one struggles with addiction, family members are often left wondering how to help without losing themselves in the process.

To offer a roadmap, our Family Specialist Therapist, Julie Duong, broke down practical, compassionate steps families can take to support their loved one's recovery while protecting their own well-being.
