This week I had the honor of saying "Happy Birthday, little one!" to a sweet little guy who shocked us all with his speedy arrival. Induction is not typically known to be a quick affair, but every process & every birth is different.
β¨There is alot of fear surrounding induction, and rightfully so. It can be a long, daunting, often exhausting process. And everyone seems to have a horror story to share when you're on the precipice of having one π«£
πBUT, it can also be a welcomed, straightforward, empowering, and beautiful experience. Whether it's planned by choice or necessity, going into an induction armed with information, a great support team, and trust in yourself & your body can help make an otherwise scary process an experience to look back on with joy & pride.
This mama was educated about her choices, carefully chose a support team that truly supported her, asked all the questions, used all of the tips & tricks she had collected for months, and most importantly, believed in herself. She just didn't know HOW strong she actually was, but now she does. And she'll never forget π
