A new offering from Evolution Doula Services. As a woman, sister, doula, and mother of a daughter, educating women is something I am very passionate about.
💗 So many women have been/are raised to dislike, fear, misunderstand, or downright hate their bodies. It's taboo to talk about periods, discharge, mood swings, and all the other things 50% of the humans on Earth go through.
✊ In truth, the workings of the female body are incredible.
Awe-inspiring.
Powerful.
Sacred.
The reason we are all here.
And the Girls need to know it!
🪴 I am so excited to offer Girls Club classes in WNY and teach our girls how to care about, and care for, their amazing bodies & minds!
There is still training to be done, and I'm not yet sure exactly where or when these will be held (just details 😂), but stay tuned!

Happy Mother's Day to all the moms out there on the job; loving, giving, planning, celebrating, grieving, watching, healing, supporting, laughing, crying, carrying, letting go, picking up, and all the rest of it. To all the mother's I have learned from and will in the future, I wish you the most beautiful (and hopefully, stress-free) Mother's Day.

A pretty pink placenta print (say that five times fast) returned to its home today 💖
and as a bonus, I got to lay my eyes on a gorgeous baby girl during our postpartum visit. Love this job!

World Doula Week started off strong with a slow but steady labor, and a beautiful birth of one of the most alert & inquisitive new humans I've ever met. She seemed quite intrigued by the whole affair, as she soaked in her first moments Earthside. Happy Birthday, Little one - I hope you never lose that wonder 💗

🌱 Beaming with pride seeing a client advocate for themselves
🌱 Cheering when the shakes & nausea come
🌱 Watching your client do the damn thing !
🌱 Seeing the wonder in parents eyes as they meet their baby
🌱 Being a hype-man when that perfect latch finally happens
🌱 Supporting & loving on the new family postpartum

This is such an amazing calling - and I am so proud to doula alongside so many incredible birth-workers!
