EMS Week is one of our favorite times of the year. It offers a special opportunity for our EMS Liaison Team to travel throughout Niagara and Erie Counties, personally thanking the EMS agencies and first responders who make a meaningful difference in our communities every day.

Our EMS Recognition Dinner on May 20 was a true highlight, bringing everyone together for an evening of recognition,
gratitude, and celebration of the lifesaving work our partners do.

Thank you to all who came out and a special congratulations to Wendelville Fire Company, our Agency of the Year!

We’re so grateful for all you do.

We are filled with gratitude as we recognize two extraordinary associates who truly embody what it means to go above and beyond. 💙

The LOVE Award — Living Our Values Effectively — celebrates Catholic Health associates who consistently support their teammates, collaborate across departments, and show remarkable compassion to our patients and their families.

It is our honor to recognize this quarter’s LOVE Award recipients:
✨ Etta Murphy, Emergency Department Associate at Mount St. Mary's Hospital and Health Center
✨ Allison Burdick, Emergency Department Nurse at Lockport Memorial Hospital.

Through their unwavering dedication, kindness, and commitment to our mission, Etta and Allison make a meaningful difference each and every day.

We are incredibly proud, and truly blessed, to have them as part of our Catholic Health family. Please join us in congratulating these inspiring individuals! 👏

National EMS Week is the perfect opportunity to celebrate our partners in the field, the emergency medical technicians and paramedics.

EMS professionals play a crucial role not just in transporting patients to hospitals, but also in triaging them to ensure they receive life-saving treatments, such as TPA, as quickly as possible. 🚑⏱️

We’re offering meal pickups at our hospital for EMS partners during lunch and dinner on Wednesday, May 20. It’s just a small token of appreciation for the big differences you make in our community!
