She graduated from the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine. She completed her residency training in obstetrics and gynecology in at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, New York. As an undergraduate, she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry summa cm laude as an Honors Scholar at the State University of New York at Buffalo. After residency, Dr. Madejski (formerly Dr.
Donohue) worked in a busy OB/Gyn group practice for almost three years. After giving birth to her second child, she realized that the busy life of an obstetrician was tapping all of her energy and leaving her little reserves. She changed paths. She decided to open a solo practice and give up obstetrics to concentrate solely on gynecology and women’s health. She sought a more balanced lifestyle to live healthier and have more time for family and friends, and pursuing interests outside of medicine. In doing this, she discovered her love of music, fitness training, and also discovered how professionals in other disciplines had a lot to offer to women’s health care.
