We're sorry Mother Nature isn't cooperating. No word on if the Niagara History Center will reschedule a 2026 date for Glenwood. You'll see it here if they do!

Unfortunately, due to the rain forecast for this afternoon, we have decided to cancel today’s Cemetery Tales at Glenwood Cemetery. Please join us for our next Cemetery Tales at Cold Springs Cemetery on Sunday, September 20th at 1 pm.

A little bit of good news following the recent flooding at Glenwood Cemetery!

We are incredibly grateful to Niagara-Orleans Monument for stepping up and supporting us in restoring Governor Hunt’s headstone after the flood waters knocked it from its pedestal.

Their generosity and willingness to help us preserve and restore this important piece of our cemetery’s history means so much to us. It’s businesses like Niagara-Orleans Monument that remind us how fortunate we are to have such supportive members of our community.

Thank you, Niagara-Orleans Monument, for your support, your craftsmanship, and for helping us get Governor Hunt’s headstone back where it belongs!

Congratulations to Bob and JD on winning the Second Annual Glenwood Cemetery Golf Tournament! 🏆⛳

A huge thank you to everyone who participated, sponsored, donated, and helped make this year’s tournament such a success. Your support helps us continue preserving and improving Glenwood Cemetery for the families and community we serve.

We had a fantastic day on the course filled with friendly competition, great camaraderie, and plenty of memorable moments. Congratulations again to Bob and JD for taking home the championship title!

We look forward to seeing everyone back next year for another great tournament!

Cemetery Tales is coming to Glenwood Cemetery on Sunday August 23 at 1:00 PM!

Local actors from Step Back in Time Players will be portraying Raphael Beck (Charley Begley), Burt Van Horn (Dennis Caisse), Isabella Sutherland (Marsha Zimmer) and William Rand Kenan (Geoff Koplas).

Please wear comfortable shoes and bring water if desired. See you there!🪦

UPDATE: The main road North has reopened. Union Avenue remains closed for your safety.

Although our gate is open, last nights rain resulted in some more washed out roads. Please do not drive around barricades. Our grounds crew is working hard to get roads back open. Mausoleums are accessible

🔔 Glenwood Cemetery Update 🔔

We are happy to announce that Glenwood Cemetery will be fully open by 4:00 PM today.

We appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding while our grounds crews have been working to address the impact from the recent torrential rains. They have been working diligently to clear debris and make the cemetery accessible again.

Please be aware that there are still small areas marked off for safety. We ask that visitors please avoid these areas and respect all posted markings while work continues.

Thank you for your cooperation and continued support as we work to keep Glenwood Cemetery safe and beautiful for all.

📢 Glenwood Cemetery Road Update

We’re happy to share that the main road leading to the mausoleums at Glenwood Cemetery is now open and accessible.

Our crews are continuing to work throughout the cemetery to address the damage and debris from the recent heavy rains. We will keep everyone updated as additional roads are cleared and reopened.

Thank you for your patience and understanding while our crews work hard to get the grounds back in order.

Please continue to use caution while traveling through the cemetery as work is ongoing.
