Being nominated for Best of Georgia means so much to us—not because of a title or an award, but because of the families and individuals who are at the heart of everything we do.

People First has always been about creating a place where our special needs community can come together, have fun, build friendships, feel included, and simply know they belong.

Another great race weekend in the books! A big thank you to EchoPark Speedway for their generosity and making this possible for our families. Many get to have this first time experience due to your kindness!
A big thank you to our favorite driver Emma Britt Racing for coming up to see us to chat, take pictures and sign cards. We also got to meet Jaxson Burnett who is well on his way to the top as well!! Thank you both for your time and heart to come love on our families 🙏🏻🥰

Today we celebrate the love, strength, patience, and dedication you pour into your families every single day. You are advocates, encouragers, teachers, comforters, and heroes in more ways than words can express.

The next FOCUS Equipment Grant Application Deadline is May15th!

Visit the Equipment Grant Program page: https://focus-ga.org/program/equipment-grant-program/ to learn about eligibility and to apply!

FOCUS Equipment Grants cover certain types of equipment not covered by private insurance or Medicaid.

FOCUS provides grants for the following types of equipment:
🎯 Van lifts, ramps, behind the vehicle lift systems
🎯 Transport style wheelchairs as a manual backup (ex. Convaid)
🎯 Activity chairs (ex. Tumbleform, Special Tomato, Rifton)
🎯 Materials for ramps for home access (Installation not funded)
🎯 Stair lifts
🎯 Patient care lifts
🎯 Custom bath equipment
