Our residents had an amazing weekend at Sherman Island. It’s a windsurfing paradise. Huge thanks to Joe, our resident, for sharing info about the sports equipment they use. Whether you’re a pro or just curious, it’s the perfect adventure spot.

Today was a delightful day, filled with delicious aromas and joyful company. We made personal gigantic chocolate chip cookies, and it was such a treat for everyone. The reluctance to share these delectable creations was understandable… who wouldn’t want to savor every bite of their own masterpiece? The shared experience of baking, with enticing smells wafting through the community, created a warm and inviting atmosphere. Moments like these foster a sense of camaraderie and happiness among us, uniting everyone over the simple pleasure of freshly baked cookies.

What an incredibly eventful and joyous day we had! Celebrating Prince as this month's Everyday Hero was a fantastic way to recognize his contributions and inspired everyone around. Meanwhile, Desiree's 18th birthday was a milestone filled with excitement and beginnings. To spice up the celebrations, we held a salsa-making contest, and the sweet habanero mango salsa took the crown. The combination of staff’s spirit, personal achievements and delicious flavors made for such a memorable celebration.

Our residents had a meaningful experience at Cherokee Memorial, honoring those who sacrificed for our freedom. They listened to a moving speech honoring the brave souls who gave their all for our liberty. The awe-inspiring sight of jets soaring overhead added reverence and pride to the occasion.

Our Butterfly Release Event was such a beautiful success. We just want to thank everyone who joined us and also helped out. We couldn’t have done this Alzheimer’s Fundraiser without everyone’s presence.
