Healing isn't just about labs, supplements, or the number on the scale.

It's about having the energy to fully participate in your life.

It's waking up refreshed. Moving your body because it feels good, not because you think you should. Feeling present enough to notice the ocean, the sky, a conversation, a moment that would have passed you by when you were exhausted.

Most people don't pay attention to their health until symptoms force them to.

Symptoms are the body's way of asking for attention. What starts as a small inconvenience can eventually become the very thing that sends us searching for answers.

But wellness is built long before that moment.
Sleep.
Sunlight.
Movement.
Nourishing food.
Healthy boundaries.
Joy.

A calmer nervous system.
Small choices repeated consistently.

The remarkable thing about the human body is its capacity to heal when given what it needs.

Comment "RESET" if you're ready to feel better, have more energy, and take back control of your health. 🤍

70% of your immune system lives in your gut.

So if you're battling autoimmunity, rising antibodies, or symptoms no one can explain, this is often where the real story begins.

Here's what most people are never told: leaky gut can be completely silent. No stomach trouble at all. Just symptoms showing up everywhere else:
• Brain fog
• Aching joints
• Eczema or hives
• Food sensitivities that keep multiplying
• Fatigue a full night's sleep won't touch

Your gut lining is built to be a precise gate, letting nutrients in and keeping everything else out. But chronic stress, gluten, infections, medications, toxins, and inflammation can break that barrier down.

When that happens, food particles and microbes slip into your bloodstream. Your immune system sees threats and responds the only way it knows how: inflammation. Over time, that constant activation can fuel autoimmune disease.

But here's the hopeful part đź’› autoimmunity is not always a one-way street.

Remove what's driving it, restore what's been missing, and the gut barrier can repair. I've watched it happen again and again.

Remission is possible.

Ever been told your labs are "normal" — but you know something isn't right? 👇

You’ve been told “everything looks normal.”
But deep down… you know something feels off.

What if the problem didn’t start when the symptoms showed up?
What if your body has been trying to tell you something for years, quietly and consistently, long before anyone noticed?

You are not imagining this.
You are not overreacting.
You are paying attention.

And that matters more than you think.

Don’t wait until your body is screaming before you start listening.
“Normal” doesn’t always mean optimal, and you deserve more than just being told to live with it.

Trust your body. Advocate for yourself. Keep asking questions.

Comment “EARLY” and I’ll send you the blog post.

An afternoon of learning, connection, and great conversation in Yountville. ✨🌿

I had the opportunity to speak about the microbiome and how stress, nutrition, lifestyle habits, and environmental exposures all influence gut health and overall wellness. It was wonderful to share a meal, exchange ideas, and connect with so many thoughtful people throughout the afternoon.

Grateful to everyone who came, listened, asked questions, and made the event so memorable. These conversations are always a reminder that healing and wellness happen best in community. đź’›

Your lab results are only as accurate as your prep. 🩸

Whether it's a functional blood chemistry check-up, annual physical, a thyroid panel, or a metabolic workup, what you do in the 72 hours before your draw shapes what shows up on your results. Save this guide so you have it ready for your next phlebotomy appointment. And share it with anyone heading in for bloodwork soon.

A few non-negotiables: fast for 10-12 hours, sleep normally, drink water, skip biotin and supplements for 3 days, no Tylenol/NSAIDs or alcohol the day before, no hard workouts for 48 hours, and reschedule if you've been recently sick. Small steps, much cleaner data.

Your A1C is a 90-day average. Averages lie.

Two people can have the same A1C — one with steady blood sugar all day, the other on a glucose roller-coaster with massive spikes after meals. The second person is in much worse shape. A1C may not show it.

That's where GlycoMark comes in. It catches the post-meal spikes that drive inflammation, weight gain, and cardiovascular risk — even when your A1C looks fine.

This is often what's underneath: fatigue, cravings, hormone disruption, weight that won't budge.

This marker isn't covered by insurance until you're already diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes. And it only gets flagged once it drops below 10.7 µg/mL — by then, your blood sugar is already spiking after meals and crashing later, every single day.
Functionally, we want you above 20.

Comment GLYCO if you want this on your next panel.

By the time a standard lab catches it, you've usually had it for 5–10 years, sometimes decades.

These five markers catch dysfunction earlier — because reversal is always on the table, it just gets harder the longer you wait. Save this carousel for your next physical.

Most doctors won't order all five. Insurance usually won't cover some of them without a diagnosis already on file. If your doctor won't run these and you want them run, DM PANEL and I'll walk you through how I order this full functional metabolic panel for clients.

True change doesn’t come from pushing harder, it comes from supporting your body in the way it’s been asking for.

She wasn’t focused on weight loss. She came in dealing with fatigue, poor sleep, hormone imbalances, and inflammation that had slowly become her “normal.”

But in just 6 weeks of the Living Light Metabolic Reset, her body started to respond in ways she didn’t expect… including her weight naturally returning to what it was in college.

Here’s what shifted:
• 18.3 lbs released (142.3 → 124 lbs)
• Deep, restorative sleep
• Steady, all-day energy
• Reduced joint pain and neuropathy
• Improved metabolic markers (A1c 5.7 → 5.4)

This wasn’t about restriction or extremes. It was about creating the right internal environment where healing could finally happen.

When the body feels supported, it responds.

Most people are low in magnesium…
but many are taking the wrong kind for their body.

Glycinate → sleep + calming
Malate → energy + fatigue
Threonate → brain + focus
Taurate → heart + blood pressure

They’re not interchangeable.
Taking the wrong one is like using the wrong tool for the job.

Swipe to find yours.
Save this so you have it when you need it.

And as always… give it 4–6 weeks before deciding if it’s working.
Minerals are slow medicine.

Which one have you tried?

We’re exposed to thousands of chemicals every day, often without realizing it.

Some of these everyday substances have been studied for their potential links to cancer-related pathways. While we can’t avoid everything, becoming more aware can help us make more intentional choices in our homes, food, and personal care products.

The Environmental Working Group has created a helpful guide outlining 12 chemicals to be mindful of, along with simple ways to reduce exposure in daily life.

This is not about fear, it is about awareness and small, realistic changes over time.
You can read the full resource guide here:

If this is helpful, feel free to share it with someone who might benefit.
