Thank you just doesn’t feel like enough for the amazing support our community showed yesterday. ❤️

With the help of Logan Manor staff and a couple of our board members on the grill — Max Lowry and Jim McDonald — we held a fundraiser meal for our beloved coworker, Darlene.

Darlene may not live in Logan, but for the last 17 years she has cared for Logan through countless days at the Manor. Even if she isn’t your next-door neighbor, chances are she has cared for your mother, father, sister, brother, grandparents, aunts, uncles, or someone you love at Logan Manor. She has always done it with the most caring and compassionate heart.

Last night, the town of Logan reminded us just how special this community truly is. Every single one of us is fortunate to live in a place where people show up for one another the way this town does. We were absolutely overwhelmed by the support and could not believe the amount of money raised to help Darlene with medical expenses.

From the bottom of our hearts — thank you to every person who came out, shared a meal with us, donated, helped, prayed, supported, or simply showed love for Darlene. ❤️

I’m going to share a few photos of staff wearing their “Darlene Strong” shirts yesterday as another reminder that the community can still order fundraiser shirts through the end of the month! Shirts will not ship until June, and you can choose to have them shipped to Logan Manor for free.

If you have any questions about the fundraiser or ordering a shirt, please send us a message

A big thank you to the volunteers who assisted us and to the community members who generously let us use their golf carts. This is an outing that so many of our residents truly look forward to. 🤍

National Skilled Nursing Care Week Family Night 🌸💛

Family Night is one of our favorite traditions each year, and once again our hearts are so full after such a wonderful evening spent together. We are beyond blessed with amazing residents and the loving, supportive families that surround them. Thank you for sharing your time, laughter, and memories with us. 🥰

A huge thank you to Mrs. Gottstine and the FFA students for helping serve the meal and clean up afterward — we appreciate you all so much! 🌻

Thank you as well to our board members Jim McDonald, Max Lowry, and Kelsey Pinkerton for grilling and helping make supper a success. 🍔🌭

It truly takes every department working together to create nights like this:✨ Housekeeping for keeping our facility looking and smelling wonderful✨ Dietary for preparing and serving such a delicious meal✨ Our direct care staff for helping residents look and feel their best✨ Department heads for planning and making it happed ✨ And a special shoutout to our beautician for coming in on her day off to help with hair for the event 💇‍♀️💕

Staff also added a few fun touches to make the evening extra special — a cute photo booth 📸, conversation starters and memory prompts at the tables 🍅🥕, and coloring pages for all the little visitors 🎨

We are so thankful for the incredible residents, families, staff, families, and community members that make Logan Manor such a special place to call home.

🌸 To go along with our “Moments in Bloom” theme yesterday, we painted air dry clay flowers and turned them into magnets with each resident’s photo in the center! 🧲💕

They turned out so cute and are definitely going to brighten up our kitchens and refrigerators with a little extra color and fun! 🌼

🌸 For a little extra fun during National Skilled Nursing Care Week, each department at Logan Manor was assigned their own garden fruit, veggie, or flower to match the special role they play here at the Manor! 🍓🌽🌻🍅

From flowers blooming to veggies growing, every department helps our home flourish in their own unique way. ❤️ Here are a few fun photos of our staff showing off their gardening spirit during our “Moments in Bloom” celebration! 👩‍🌾☀️📸

We have also added a special appreciation bulletin board where staff, residents, families, and visitors can write notes recognizing someone they see going above and beyond to help our facility bloom.

🌸 Monday, we celebrated Mother’s Day with some very special women in our lives at Logan Manor! 🌸

We enjoyed the cutest little “dirt cup” treats complete with shovel spoons, refreshing punch, and lots of laughter and visiting together. 🪴💕 Everyone also had the chance to test out their creative side by painting terra-cotta flower pots before planting beautiful flowers to take home and enjoy for years to come.

A huge thank you goes out to Mrs. Gottstine and her FFA girls for coming down to provide the flowers and plants and for helping us learn how to plant them! 🌼🌱 Your kindness and help made the afternoon extra special.

And of course, we couldn’t celebrate our “Moments in Bloom” week without a little extra fun — staff joined in dressed in their gardening gear with overalls and sun hats to match the theme! 👩‍🌾☀️

Thank you to everyone who helped make this Mother’s Day celebration such a wonderful memory for our residents and families.
