A little late posting these, but last month we celebrated the birthdays of Bernard, Marie, and Clarence at our monthly birthday party! 🎉🎂

Residents enjoyed delicious ice cream cake from Hometown Market and spent the afternoon celebrating with friends. There’s never a bad time for cake and good company! 🍦❤️

The kids and residents had a blast making puffy paint watermelons using Elmer’s glue, shaving cream, and food coloring. There may have been a little mess involved, but sometimes that’s half the fun! 🤣

Our room was filled with joy, laughter, and creativity on Monday as so many wonderful children joined us for our activity! Together, we painted rocks to start Roger the Snake, and we loved watching each child add their own special touch.

It makes our hearts so happy when the kids come spend time with us. The smiles, conversations, and excitement brought so much joy to everyone involved.

Roger now lives outside on the rocks near the playground, and we’d love for him to keep growing all summer long! Feel free to paint a rock and add it to Roger anytime. We can’t wait to see how long he becomes! 🐍🎨☀️

🌴🚢 Bon Voyage Bash 2026! 🚢🌴

Today Logan Manor set sail on a tropical adventure without ever leaving home! Our residents and staff spent the day celebrating cruise-style with games, treats, laughter, and plenty of fun memories.

We enjoyed shuffleboard, pineapple bowling, towel origami, and put our thinking caps on for games like Cruise Ship Name Three Things and our Cruise Ship Buffet word challenge. Residents created amazing towel creations including swans, crabs, and bears, and everyone had a blast dressing up in their tropical attire and posing for photos in our cruise-themed photo booth.

Of course, no cruise would be complete without delicious refreshments! We enjoyed shrimp cocktail, fresh fruit, and icy slushies throughout the day.

A special thank you to Kristen Russell for bringing her slushy machine for us to test out—it was definitely a hit with residents and staff alike!

Thank you to everyone who helped make our Bon Voyage Bash such a fun and memorable day. The smiles, laughter, and tropical spirit made it feel like we were truly on vacation! ☀️🌺🍍🛳️

Business Office Manager
We are seeking a motivated and organized Business Office Manager to join our nursing home team. This position is responsible for overseeing the financial, administrative, and payroll operations of the facility while helping ensure excellent care for our residents.
Responsibilities Include:
• Payroll management
• Billing and accounts receivable
• Accounting and financial reporting
• Insurance and Medicaid/Medicare billing
• Human resources support
• Maintaining compliance with healthcare and employment regulations
Qualifications:
• Accounting background preferred
• Experience with payroll, billing, or office management
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Healthcare or long-term care experience is a plus

Thank you just doesn’t feel like enough for the amazing support our community showed yesterday. ❤️

With the help of Logan Manor staff and a couple of our board members on the grill — Max Lowry and Jim McDonald — we held a fundraiser meal for our beloved coworker, Darlene.

Darlene may not live in Logan, but for the last 17 years she has cared for Logan through countless days at the Manor. Even if she isn’t your next-door neighbor, chances are she has cared for your mother, father, sister, brother, grandparents, aunts, uncles, or someone you love at Logan Manor. She has always done it with the most caring and compassionate heart.

Last night, the town of Logan reminded us just how special this community truly is. Every single one of us is fortunate to live in a place where people show up for one another the way this town does. We were absolutely overwhelmed by the support and could not believe the amount of money raised to help Darlene with medical expenses.

From the bottom of our hearts — thank you to every person who came out, shared a meal with us, donated, helped, prayed, supported, or simply showed love for Darlene. ❤️

I’m going to share a few photos of staff wearing their “Darlene Strong” shirts yesterday as another reminder that the community can still order fundraiser shirts through the end of the month! Shirts will not ship until June, and you can choose to have them shipped to Logan Manor for free.

Friday morning, we took advantage of the beautiful weather and enjoyed golf cart rides around town! ☀️💨

A big thank you to the volunteers who assisted us and to the community members who generously let us use their golf carts. This is an outing that so many of our residents truly look forward to. 🤍
