A few years ago, I, Merrill Gould, was wondering what I should do with the horses that I owned. I wondered if I should sell them or give them away. As I was in the midst of this deliberation, a daughter asked me to give her riding lessons. It wasn't long before more young girls wanted to join producing the need to find more horses. This proved to be a good experience for these girls, because they

learned horsemanship by having to care for their horse each afternoon. The became better students in school, more reliable and happy at home, and gained more self-confidence as they learned horsemanship skull's. This increase in character and sense of responsibility is important to nurture our youth of today.

Everyone meet our newest horse, Thunder! 🐴⚡

Thunder is settling in nicely and already making himself right at home at the ranch. From relaxing in his stall to posing for pictures, this handsome guy is quickly becoming a favorite.

Today he decided to rock his ninja suit and show off his secret identity. 🥷😂 We’re pretty sure he’s convinced he’s on a top-secret mission, but we’re just happy he’s looking good and staying clean!

We’re excited to have Thunder as part of the Whispering Canyons family and can’t wait for all the adventures ahead.

The youngest siblings are getting in on the nitty-gritty ranch work too! 🐴❤️

These three love volunteering their time around the ranch and were hard at work picking Molly’s hooves to keep them clean and healthy. We love seeing these kids learn responsibility, teamwork, and the importance of caring for our horses. The future of ranch life is looking bright!

Due to the weather, we are needing to reschedule our Glow in the Dark Barrel Race. We are so grateful for everyone’s support, excitement, and understanding. We want this to be a fun and safe event for all our cowboys, cowgirls, and horses, and we can’t wait to light up the arena with you soon! New date coming shortly. 🌟🐴
