I’ve been in spaces where sharing feels forced, and I know just how sh*tty that kind of pressure feels.

There’s a difference between inviting someone to lean into their edge and pushing them past their no.

That’s why choice matters so much to me in circle.

YOU DO NOT HAVE TO DO SOMETHING JUST BECAUSE EVERYONE IS DOING IT. Sorry (not sorry) I had to yell that one.

You can pass.
You can sit something out.
You can change your mind.
Your. no. matters.

Pressure is still pressure, even when it’s happening in a circle, workshop, retreat, or some other supposedly supportive space.

You know that joke where you are trying to convince your nervous system that you are not, in fact, being eaten by a bear? That was yesterday’s vibes. Lolol it's fine.

That buzzy, urgent energy showed up yesterday and instead of sitting at my computer feeding the stress, I reframed it and moved it.

I danced. Twerked. Then asked my guy to support me while I pushed, resisted, wrestled a little, and let my body use the energy.

Self-sourcing doesn’t mean doing everything alone.

I noticed what I needed.
I cared for myself.
And then I asked someone I trust to be there too.

Coming back to yourself doesn’t require doing it all by yourself.

Expression doesn’t always need to be solitary.

Express. (with boundaries, duh) Don’t suppress.
