🌞 Extreme Heat Reminder 🌞

With temperatures climbing, we're taking extra steps to keep our residents safe, comfortable, and healthy.

Our care team is encouraging everyone to:
💧 Stay hydrated by drinking plenty of fluids.
❄️ Spend time in cool, air-conditioned areas.
👒 Avoid prolonged time outdoors during the hottest parts of the day.
🩺 Watch for signs of heat-related illness, including dizziness, weakness, or confusion.

Families are always welcome to visit, but if you're coming by, please remember to stay hydrated and take precautions in the heat as well.

Your health and safety remain our top priority. Stay cool, stay safe, and check on your loved ones and neighbors during this period of extreme heat. ❤️

Registered therapy dog Annabelle, recently made her rounds visiting residents and staff at Chase Center. Annabelle loves every opportunity to share comfort, affection, and plenty of tail wags with everyone she meets. The smiles, conversations, and moments of connection are what therapy dog visits are all about.
Annabelle’s chauffeur, treat supplier, and full-time human is Brooke Smith, Director of Rehab at Chase Center. Together, they have been visiting nursing homes since 2018, bringing comfort, companionship, and joy to residents one visit at a time. ❤️🐾

This week we were so grateful to welcome Gram Camp to Chase Center! Our residents were touched by the kindness and creativity of these wonderful young visitors as they shared heartfelt conversations and gifted each resident a beautiful handmade gift created especially for them.
Moments like these remind us how meaningful connection between generations can be, bringing smiles, joy, and warmth to everyone involved. Thank you, Gram Camp, for making this day so special for our residents!
