Our clinics are staying busy, we’re still seeing over 200 patients per week.
That's a lot of people desperately seeking medical treatment, and our clinics deliver in areas where there are no other options.

They had a community, they had a doctor, and now they have us.

Severe shrapnel and blast injuries across the face (eyelid, chin), sternal notch, right lateral arm, and thorax. Two deep subcutaneous penetrating wounds on the right side without thoracic entry. Multiple penetrating wounds to the frontal abdomen, possible peritoneal breach defense muscle involvement confirmed. Deep wound to the right hip, plus dozens of superficial shrapnel injuries across the frontal and right lateral body.

Splinting doesn’t need to be complicated.

What we teach are the principles of splinting. Support the limb, pad pressure points, immobilize the joint above and below, secure it firmly without compromising circulation, and check the distal pulse before and after.

📷 A commercially produced SAM splint, or other made-for-purpose splinting materials are excellent when you have them. 🔹But as long as you follow the main principles you can also improvise and use sticks, boards, cardboard, a shovel handle 🪏or a rigid pack.🔹

At Frontline Medics we are proud to provide units with field medicine training, such Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) and the ex*****on of MARCH algorithm (Massive Bleeding, Airway, Respiration, Circulation, Hypothermia).

🔴 We have instructors continuously stationed at 2, sometimes 3 different locations. The consistent demand and positive feedback indicate how valuable their work is. 🔴

📷 Hands on fieldwork forces trainees to operate only with what they carry in their aid bags. They learn to adapt to restricted lighting, weather, dirt, and uneven terrain. Instructors provide immediate feedback and corrections to ensure high stakes technical details are properly executed. This gives soldiers confidence while ensuring they can perform precise life-saving procedures like tourniquet application.

Our mobile clinic regularly visits a local shelter where amputees are given care.

These amputees are typically victims of enemy attacks on civilian buildings. With their homes destroyed they find refuge in IDP (Internally Displaced Persons) shelters.

Physiotherapy can be hard to find in these challenging environments, but it has significant value. The human toll will last long after the conflict, and the treatments they receive now will shape their rehabilitation and lifelong experience.

“🚙 Shrapnel injuries case study 🤕🤕🤕

🤕: Severe shrapnel and blast injuries on face+eyelid+chin, sternal notch, right lateral arm.
🤕: Thorax right side 2 deep subcutaneous penetrating wounds, multiple penetrating wounds frontal abdomen with possible peritoneal entrance.
🤕: Deep wound latter right hip, and a lot superficial shrapnel injuries on frontal and right lateral plane of the whole body

⛑️: Sedation, analgesia, antibiotics, wound packing with bandages and dressing, central line.
🚑: Onwards to hospital for further care
