Today, we celebrated our incredible summer volunteers as they wrapped up another meaningful season at Totally Kids! To thank them for sharing their time and energy with our patients and families, we treated them to a well-deserved pizza party.

This is what progress looks like in our subacute program at Totally Kids. Sensory work is a regular part of the day here, helping kids build focus, regulate their responses, and get comfortable in their own bodies again.

It's one piece of a bigger recovery plan, and one that makes a real difference in how kids move through their day.

A little friendly competition made for a great afternoon during our Social Recreation Program!

Bryan had a blast playing Water Pong, showing great focus, determination, and plenty of smiles with each toss. While the game was fun, it also helped strengthen hand-eye coordination, upper extremity movement, motor planning, visual tracking, and social interaction in an engaging and supportive environment.

Our Social Recreation Program, provided by the Child Development & Activities Department, promotes development through engaging group activities that encourage residents to build skills, gain confidence, connect with others, and enjoy meaningful experiences. We are also grateful for our dedicated volunteers, whose enthusiasm and encouragement help make these moments even more special.
