Let’s talk cupping 🫧

Cupping works by using a negative pressure to create space beneath the muscle and tissue. This allows for a healthier flow of blood and oxygen, which in turn, decreases inflammation.

Those marks? A normal response to the negative pressure of the cups, which bring blood flow to the surface of the skin. They are not traditional bruises, and typically fade within a few days. The different shades and colors also tell me a lot about what is going on beneath the surface. HOW COOL 😎

A fresh introduction 🌹

Hi! I’m Diana, the owner and licensed acupuncturist behind Rose Point Acupuncture.

I earned my Master’s Degree in Acupuncture from National University of Health Sciences in Lombard and have been treating patients clinically for nearly 6 years, including my clinical training before graduating in 2022.

Outside of the clinic, I’m a proud mom of two energetic boys and have called Lombard home for more than 10 years. I love being able to care for the community where my family and I have built our lives.

My approach is individualized and holistic—I believe that lasting healing comes from identifying and addressing the root cause of imbalance, rather than simply managing symptoms.

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of helping patients with a wide variety of concerns, including:

Many patients feel a little “zing” at this point! PC6 lies directly over the median nerve, nestled between the tendons of palmaris longus and flexor carpi radialis — no wonder it’s such a powerful spot!
