Dear Valued Clients,

We appreciate your understanding and flexibility over the past couple of days as we navigated limited services due to the storm on July 27th.

We are happy to share that our power was fully restored this evening, and we expect to be running at 100% capacity tomorrow, July 29th.

For clients we contacted to reschedule appointments and other scheduled services, thank you again for your accommodation.

Our main goal is always to provide top-level veterinary care, no matter the circumstances.

Severe Weather Update - July 28th, 5:00 AM

We wanted to share a quick update with our clients following yesterday's storms in Lombard.

Our hospital remains open and is continuing to see appointments, fill medications, and answer your pet care questions. While we are still operating on emergency generators and with limited capabilities due to the widespread storm damage, our team is here and committed to providing the exceptional care you and your pets deserve.

If you have an appointment scheduled today or tomorrow and would prefer to reschedule, please give us a call or send us an email—we're happy to help.

For those with pets currently boarding or receiving services with us, rest assured they are safe, comfortable, and receiving the highest level of veterinary care.

Due to a power outage caused by the recent storm this afternoon, Lombard Veterinary Hospital is currently operating under limited services. While our backup generators are running, we are experiencing delays with drawing vaccines, filling prescriptions, and conducting exams.

If you have an appointment scheduled for today, we are still available to see you under these limited conditions. Alternatively, we are happy to help you reschedule for another day that fits your schedule.

If you currently have a pet here at the hospital for boarding, or other services, please be assured that they are safe and continuing to receive the highest level of care.

At 16 years young, Chibi is proving that age is just anumber! 💕

Since starting rehabilitation, this sweet senior has been working hard to improve her strength, mobility, and overall quality of life. We couldn’t be prouder of her progress! 🥰

Many pet parents don’t realize that rehabilitation can help dogs living with arthritis, chronic mobility challenges, weakness, and other age-related changes.

Our goal is to help pets move more comfortably, stay active, and when appropriate, reduce their reliance on medications through personalized rehabilitation and therapeutic care.

With customized treatment plans and hands-on support, our rehabilitation team is dedicated to improving your pet’s long-term mobility and helping them enjoy a happier, healthier life at any age.

Hosted by our Rehabilitation Department, this interactive event is perfect for dogs of all ages and is especially beneficial for senior dogs, dogs recovering from injury or surgery, and those who enjoy engaging their natural curiosity.
