Our Rockford Community Back-to-School Supply Giveaway was filled with laughter, excitement, and families coming together to prepare for the school year ahead. From free backpacks and school supplies to popsicles, candy, temporary tattoos, and a special visit from the Rockford Police Department, it was a day we’ll never forget.

🏆🤖 Champions!
Congratulations to MCC Academy’s FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) Team 10435 – Intelligent Robotic Systems, proudly sponsored by Sahara Home Care, on earning their first-ever championship at the Rock River Robotics Off-Season Competition in Rockford, Illinois! 🎉
In just their second year of competition, Team 10435 finished the entire tournament undefeated, secured the #1 seed, and captured the championship alongside alliance partners Team 111 Wildstand and Team 11195 Volt.
This incredible achievement reflects months of designing, building, programming, testing, and refining their robot for the 2026 FRC game, REBUILT. More importantly, it showcases the power of perseverance, innovation, teamwork, and community support.
We are honored to support such an inspiring group of students and congratulate the entire team, their dedicated mentors, volunteers, and families on this well-deserved victory.
The future of STEM is bright, and Team 10435 is just getting started! 💙🚀
