Today, we proudly wore our Team Tammy shirts in honor of our dear friend and co-worker, Tammy Shockey.

As Tammy continues her fight against cancer, we wanted her to know that she is not fighting alone. We gathered together to show our love and support and presented her with a comfort care basket filled with thoughtful items to brighten her days and remind her how much she means to all of us.

Tammy has touched so many lives with her kindness, compassion, strength, and friendship. She is a valued member of our work family, and we are standing beside her every step of this journey.

Please join us in keeping Tammy in your thoughts and prayers as she continues to fight with courage and grace. We love you, Tammy, and we’re all cheering you on! 💗🦋

🌟 Happy GCNA Appreciation Week! 🌟

This week, we proudly celebrate our Geriatric Certified Nursing Assistants and the incredible difference they make each and every day.

GCNAs are the heart of resident care. Through their compassion, patience, kindness, and dedication, they provide comfort, dignity, and support to those who call our facility home. Whether offering a helping hand, sharing a smile, or providing reassurance during difficult moments, their impact extends far beyond daily care tasks.

The relationships our GCNAs build with residents and families create a sense of trust, security, and belonging that makes our community stronger. Their hard work often happens behind the scenes, but the difference they make is seen and felt every day.

During GCNA Appreciation Week, we want our GCNAs to know how deeply valued and appreciated they are. Thank you for your unwavering commitment, your caring hearts, and the countless ways you enrich the lives of our residents.

You are truly the heart of care, and we are grateful for all that you do.
❤️ Happy GCNA Appreciation Week! ❤️

🎣☀️ What a reel-y wonderful day at The Midland Sportsmans Club (the Patch).

Our residents enjoyed a beautiful day filled with sunshine, fresh air, fishing, and great company. After spending time by the water casting lines and sharing stories, everyone gathered for a delicious outdoor picnic featuring grilled hamburgers and hot dogs.

We are incredibly grateful to Midland Sportsman’s Club for hosting this special outing and providing such a welcoming place for our residents to enjoy the great outdoors.

A heartfelt thank you goes out to our amazing volunteers and team members who helped make the day possible: Shawn Jones, Amanda Jones, Ed Jones, Emma Lauder, Administrator, Jeff Metz, DON, Sam Jones, Co-Owner Dave Lauder, Activity Staff, and Jeri Thrasher.

Days like these create memories that will be treasured for years to come. Thank you to everyone who helped make this fishing adventure such a success! 🎣❤️

Many of you know and love our sweet friend and co-worker, Tammy Shockey. Tammy has spent years caring for others with compassion, kindness, and a heart that never stopped giving. Right now, Tammy is facing one of the hardest battles of her life as she courageously fights cancer… and she needs all of us surrounding her in prayer, love, and support.

On June 15th, we will be welcoming Tammy back to the nursing home for a very special social with her co-workers, residents, families, and friends. Our goal is simple — to make sure Tammy knows just how deeply loved, appreciated, and treasured she truly is. 💕

We are asking everyone to:
🙏 Please pray for Tammy and her family
💬 Leave a comment sharing your favorite memory of Tammy, something special she’s done for you, or what you love most about her
💗 Help us remind her that she has made a lasting difference in so many lives

To help support Tammy during this difficult time, we are also selling these beautiful “Team Tammy” shirts for $21 each. All proceeds will go directly toward Tammy’s medical and living expenses.

There’s something special about getting your hands in the dirt and watching beauty grow 🌸🌼

Yesterday, our residents spent time planting beautiful flowers in our raised flower beds, filling our patio area with color, smiles, and lots of laughter. Gardening is more than just planting flowers — it’s creating joy, memories, and moments together. 💐

We can’t wait to watch these blooms grow all summer long, just like the happiness they brought to everyone yesterday! 🌿☀️
