Air Evac was honored to be a small part of the CommonSpirit Saint Joseph Foundation’s Roaring Centennial Gala! 🎉

Representing Air Evac were Program Managers Joe Bradshaw, AE79, and Letch Day, AE179, along with Flight Nurse Alicia Sexton, AE109.

It was an incredible evening supporting an even greater cause. ❤️ All proceeds from tonight’s event will go toward the expansion of oncology services through the acquisition of a state-of-the-art simulator.

We’re proud to support the CommonSpirit Saint Joseph Foundation and the continued advancement of healthcare in our communities! 🚁💙

We are excited to announce that our porch goose now has a name. Nora P Nefrin will be part of our team at AE179 and hopefully a welcoming sight to our visitors at the base.

Today, Program Manager Letch Day of Air Evac Lifeteam 179 had the opportunity to attend a luncheon with Senator Rand Paul and State Representative Shane Baker.
Senator Paul shared updates on current happenings in Washington, D.C., along with his vision and perspectives on several upcoming legislative projects.

We appreciate the opportunity to hear directly from our elected officials, learn more about the issues impacting our communities, and stay engaged in the legislative process.

At approximately 10:47am the London-Laurel County 911 Center advised units of a motor vehicle accident at the 7800 block of N US HWY 25. Rescue units deployed offroad vehicles to gain access to the patient with EMS.

Also on scene were Ambulance Inc. Of Laurel County East Bernstadt Fire & Rescue and Laurel County Sheriff's Office Air Evac Lifeteam 179 - London, KY

Today, August 11th, 2026 U.S. Congressman Hal Rogers met in London, Kentucky with the local and state leaders to announce significant federal funding from federal and state to rebuild the damages caused by the London-Corbin Airport from the E4 tornado in 2025.

This is big step forward for our community here in Laurel county and the surrounding communities.

We felt honored to listen to Congressman Rogers speak and allow us to spend some time with him.

The London-Corbin Airport, which was damaged during a deadly tornado in 2025, received $6 million from federal and state lawmakers to help rebuild.
