Yesterday’s Bible study was about getting past our past. ❤️
So many times, we allow yesterday’s mistakes, hurts, failures, shame, and regrets to keep us from walking fully into what God has for us today.
We talked about Paul—someone with a past he could have allowed to define him, but instead, he chose to move forward in Christ. “Forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before…” — Philippians 3:13
Then we did something simple, but powerful. Each lady wrote down something from her past that she has been struggling to get past. Something she needed to surrender. Something she was ready to stop carrying.
And one by one, we took those to the foot of the cross. ✝️
Because the cross is where our shame belongs—not our future.
Here’s to moving forward. ❤️
Here’s to becoming who God has called us to be.
And here’s to leaving what we can’t change in the hands of the One who can.
