Hi! My name is Amanda Young and I am excited to be joining the Occupational Therapy Solutions team as an Occupational Therapist! I recently earned my Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from Eastern Kentucky University. I enjoy spending my free time with my family and friends, playing with my cat, Scout, and being outdoors—especially hiking.

I look forward to build meaningful relationships with the children and families that I will have the privilege of serving!

🎉This kiddo jumped all the hurdles and completed his last OT session today! 🎉

He was referred to OT to improve independence with activities of daily living (ADLs), emotional regulation, self awareness, and motor skills. With consistent OT services and at home carry over, he achieved well beyond his goals! We are so proud of him and all his hard work! 👏

Today we celebrate what advocacy, community, and strength in numbers can accomplish! 🎉

We are incredibly grateful for the decision not to cut Medicaid reimbursement rates for providers. Because of this, we can continue focusing on delivering high-quality, evidence-based care to the individuals and families who depend on us.

Thank you to everyone who raised their voices and stood together. Your advocacy truly made a difference! 🙌💙

Beginning August 1, Kentucky Medicaid providers will face an additional 4% payment reduction, following earlier reimbursement cuts this year. We have to stand up for our children and community. Please click the link below to share your story and how these cuts may affect you and your family.

Iris and Eden have been working so hard to expand their diets and try new foods! Watching them step outside their comfort zones and celebrate each success has been so rewarding. Mrs. Wanda is incredibly proud of the progress they've made and can't wait to see what they'll accomplish next. Keep up the amazing work, girls! 💜
