Roberta Jones, aged 55, passed away on Sunday, August 23, 2026, at the UK Medical Center in Lexington, KY. She was born on August 31, 1970, in Laurel County, KY. She is preceded in death by her father, Charles Brummett, son Lewis Geen Jones Jr., and two brothers, Kevin and Jeffrey Brummett.
She is survived by her husband Lewis Jones of Corbin, KY; two daughters: Natasha Roberts of London, KY, and Ashley Grace; her mother, Ida Brummett both of Corbin, KY; five grandchildren: Elijah Mount, Isaiah Mount, Jeremiah Thompson, Autumn Jones, and Derrick Grace Jr.; and seven siblings: Vickie Stanley, Bruce Brummett, John Brummett, Chuck Brummett, Florette Hubbard, Margaret Chadwell, and Melzena Moore.
There will be no services for Roberta Jones as the family has chosen direct cremation.

Carrie Jean Hunter, aged 65, of London, Kentucky passed away on August 13, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on August 15, 1960, in Dayton, Ohio to the late Euguene and Shirley Schmidt.
Our beloved mother lived a life defined by deep devotion, quiet strength, and endless love for those around her.
Carrie Jean Hunter is survived by her husband, Jeffery Lloyd Hunter of Adair County, Kentucky; her children Jessica Walters and husband Scott of East Bernstadt, Kentucky; Jennifer Hillard and husband Mark of Annville, Kentucky; Joe Hunter and wife Jennifer and Justin Hunter all of London, Kentucky; one sister Diane Newman and husband Dean, of Ohio. Along with her husband and children, to morn her passing is fifteen grandchildren, seven great grandchildren with one on the way.
Besides her parents Carrie Jean Hunter is preceded in death by one brother, Doug Schmidt, two sisters; Cheryl Lyons and Beverly Phillips; one grandson Wesley Shane Finley.
The family would like to give a special thank you to Brianna and Josh Adams and Stephanie and Jeff Adams for taking great care of our mother and friend at the end stage of her life.
All funeral services for Carrie Jean Hunter are private to the family.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.

Carla “Faye” (Howard) Hall, aged 75, passed away on Monday, August 10, 2026, at Baptist Health Hospital in Corbin, KY. She was born on April 7, 1951, in Oneida, KY, the daughter of the late Carl Howard and Edith Irene (Lewis) Howard Steele. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Tim Hall, and four siblings: Roy Lee Howard, Ronnie Verlen “R.V.” Howard, Jerry Carl Howard, and George Lane Howard.
She is survived by her two children: Sheila Renee Magill and husband Chris of Miamisburg, OH, and Christy Boian and husband Jeff of Oxford, OH; five grandchildren: Taylor Magill, Morgan Rutledge and husband Alex, Shelbi Hust and husband Josh, Dalton Boian, and Mattie Magill; eight great-grandchildren: Zachary Davis, Dameatrus Hust, Annaleah Hust, Michael Hust, Madeline Hust, Maeve Rutledge, Amelia Rutledge, and Jillian Boian; three siblings: Barbara Sue Miller of London, KY, Arlen Gene Howard of Cleveland, TN, and Sandra Kaye Vales of Appleton, WI; plus, the family wishes to give a special mention to her niece Tammy Sizemore, who has showed Faye immense love and compassion over the past thirteen years.
Services for Carla “Faye” (Howard) Hall will be conducted on Thursday, August 13, 2026, at 12 p.m., at Hampton Celebration of Life Funeral Chapel, with Bro. Brayden Howard, Rev. Evelyn Virginia (Brown) Petree, aged 74, passed away on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, at Baptist Health Hospital in Corbin, KY. She was born on July 2, 1952, in London, KY, the daughter of the late Clyde and Effie (Stamper) Brown. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her granddaughter Mahania Brown; four siblings: Ronald Brown, Janice Brown Monroe and late husband Alfred, Jerry Brown and late wife Theresa, Darrell Brown and late wife Shirley; and brother-in-law, Jarvis Hampton.
Evelyn was formerly a data operator for ACS. She of the Baptist faith and a member of Union United Baptist Church.
She is survived by her three children: Derrick Brown and wife Amy, Laura “Allison” Joseph and husband Dean, and Chris Brown, all of London, KY; nine grandchildren: Braden, Isaac, Laken, and Leah Brown, Colby and Carter Joseph, Christopher Brown Jr., and Tara and Kaydi Brown; four siblings: Floyd Brown of Daytona, FL, Yvonne Hampton, Rancel Brown and wife Doris, and Johnny Brown, all of London, KY.
Funeral services for Evelyn Virginia (Brown) Petree will be conducted on Saturday, August 8, at 12:00 p.m. at Hampton Celebration of Life Funeral Chapel with Bro. Jamie Smith, Bro. Derrick Brown and Bro. Eric Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Union United Baptist Church Cemetery in London, KY. Serving as pallbearers will be family and friends.
