Thanks to all of our wonderful hospital employees and the family members who spent Tuesday evening connecting with the community on National Night Out. We were in London, West Jefferson and at Choctaw Lake, along with all of the amazing first responders who work hard each day to keep our communities safe. We are so proud of our Pelotonia teamđź’š

Leanne Manring, RN & Manager of the Madison Health Cancer Center and Joel Rice, CNP, represented The James Affiliate Network as they completed a 17 mile ride to END cancer on Saturday.

Pelotonia’s incredible community includes 8,000+ Riders and 3,000+ Volunteers. Together, Joel and Leanne raised over $3,000 for cancer research.

Special thanks to all who supported their inspiring journey. Way to go Joel & Leanne - Madison Health is proud of you!!

Madison Health is pleased to offer a community of support for those coping with the emotional aspects of cancer. This cancer support group is open to individuals touched by all types of cancer, including survivors and caregivers.

The group is facilitated by Joel Rice, CNP and board- certified advanced practice nurse, from the Madison Health Cancer Center. Joel provides cancer care to patients each weekday and credits his own diagnosis for the desire to care for others courageously battling cancer.

Group sessions are held one Thursday each month from 5 to 6pm on the second floor in the lobby just outside of the cancer center.

*October 22nd
*November 19th
*December 17th
