Our children enjoyed another fun day at the beach together! ☀️🏖️
Outdoor play is crucial for a child's development. It actively stimulates brain development, builds gross motor skills and physical health, encourages creative problem-solving, and fosters vital social and emotional skills like resilience, empathy, and cooperation with peers.
Our children enjoy plenty of outdoor play together daily in our beautiful play yard and garden space, as well as throughout our community at local playgrounds and field trips. Also, we are blessed to have the beautiful beach right down the block! 😊

Creative Space Learning Center, a self directed learning association, is now enrolling ages 3-16 for 2026/2027! Run by certified teachers and homeschooling moms! Limited spots available. DM for info. 😃

Our enrichment program and extracurricular classes are a wonderful opportunity for our children to learn together through child-led exploration, 1:1 and small group tutoring, engaging hands-on activities and cooperative play. Our child directed learning programs allow our children the freedom and confidence to become lifelong learners. Family involvement welcome and parents are welcome to drop off or stay and join in the fun! ❤️

We enjoyed a fun scavenger hunt at the beach! Our kids worked together to find different kinds of seaweed, feathers, seashells, driftwood, and more!

After learning about carnivorous plants, we made edible carnivorous plants of our own. The kids chose to make a Venus Fly Trap or a Pitcher Plant that trapped the “bugs” / raisins. This was a yummy and fun snack that demostrares different way that carnivorous plants trap and consume their prey.

We had a gorgeous day for our family bbq! We worked together to build a fire and our children enjoyed an afternoon in the forest with delicious food and having fun with friends. We are so thankful for our incredible homeschool community of families at Creative Space Learning Center ❤️!

We read and followed a recipe, took turns adding and mixing ingredients, and worked together to make a healthy and delicious snack. These chocolate quinoa oat bars were a big hit! 😋

Cooking helps a child's development by fostering cognitive growth (literacy, math and science), strengthening fine motor skills, encouraging healthy eating habits, and building self-confidence. It also enhances patience, boosts independence, and offers opportunities for bonding through sensory-rich, hands-on learning.
