Food Allergy Institute Eat Safely. Live Freely. Eat freely without restriction through the Tolerance Induction Program (TIP).

Founded by Dr. Inderpal Randhawa, SoCal Food Allergy is a nonprofit dedicated to providing innovative and safe treatment for the 6 million children in the U.S. who suffer from food allergies.

Fact or Fiction: "Once you achieve remission in the Tolerance Induction Program®, you still have to dose your food every single day." 💬

Dr. Randhawa and Dr. Clark are sitting down to bust one of the biggest myths we hear about life after TIP!

The short answer? FALSE. ❌

The big difference between traditional Oral Immunotherapy (OIT) and FAI’s Tolerance Induction Program® (TIP):

- Traditional OIT programs often require mandatory daily dosing indefinitely, paired with 2-hour "rest periods" where heart rates must be monitored and activities restricted.

- TIP utilizes proprietary, data-driven protocols that train the immune system for sustained remission. Once in maintenance, our patients only dose once a week on average, and in many cases, just once every 2 or 3 weeks!

We don't build protocols that keep you tied to a clock. We use precision data to give you your time, freedom, and life back. ✨

Behind every milestone, every "first taste," and every step toward food freedom is a piece of vital science happening behind the scenes. 🔬✨

Did you know? Laboratory testing and research guide a majority of clinical decisions, making lab professionals essential to accurate diagnosis and effective treatment.

At the Food Allergy Institute, precision is at the heart of everything we do. Long before a patient takes their first dose, our laboratory team and researchers are hard at work using advanced testing to analyze complex biomarkers. Without their dedication to precision science, building the hyper-customized roadmaps that make the Tolerance Induction Program® (TIP) possible simply wouldn't be achievable.

They turn raw data into safety, helping our families move past a lifetime of strict avoidance and constant fear toward true, long-term remission. 🤍
To our brilliant laboratory team: thank you for your relentless precision and dedication to our patients. Drop a 💙 in the comments to help us show them some love today!

For years, adults with severe food allergies have been given the exact same answer: "Avoid it for the rest of your life." 🛑

When you’ve lived decades on high alert, constantly checking labels, worrying at restaurant tables, and carrying the mental weight of accidental exposure, it’s easy to feel like options for adults simply don't exist.

But age shouldn't be a barrier to Food Freedom.
In this video, Dr. Randhawa addresses how our team at the Food Allergy Institute treats adult patients up to age 50 using our Tolerance Induction Program® (TIP).

Because adult immune systems are different, standard allergy approaches often stop at adolescence. However, our personalized, data-driven approach uses precise Molecular Protein Mapping to build a safe, individualized roadmap for adults, helping them build true, biological tolerance safely.

Why treating adults changes everything:
- 🛡️ Peace of Mind: Eliminates the constant "what-if" fear in everyday workplace, travel, and dining environments.
- 🌟 New Beginnings: Proves that it is never too late to rewrite your story with food.

You deserve more than just a lifetime of avoidance.

Today, Julian’s reality is completely transformed, so much so that his incredible journey was recently featured on ! ✨

"5 years ago, I was having an anaphylactic reaction to milk being steamed in a Starbucks... and today, I'm eating an In-N-Out burger for the first time with Dr. Randhawa." 🍔🥛✨

For Julian, a severe dairy allergy once meant that even airborne milk proteins at a coffee shop posed an immediate, life-threatening risk, making a classic, real-cheese In-N-Out burger an absolute impossibility.

Through the Tolerance Induction Program®, Julian didn't just learn to manage his severe allergies, he reclaimed his confidence and built a true, hopeful path toward long-term remission. Now, Julian can live his life eating just like a non-allergic person!🤍

For many parents navigating the world of severe food allergies, keeping up with changing medical headlines can feel like a rollercoaster. You might have recently read the news that Palforzia—the single-allergen oral immunotherapy treatment for peanut allergies—has officially been discontinued.

When a major treatment option leaves the market, it is completely natural to feel a sense of unease or worry about what this means for the future of allergy care. We want to reassure you today that while industry headlines may shift, your family’s path to true safety and peace of mind remains completely secure. 🤍

At the Food Allergy Institute, we have never relied on standardized, one-size-fits-all pharmaceutical products. We chose a different path because we know that every child’s immune system is unique.

Our Tolerance Induction Program® (TIP) is a proprietary, data-driven treatment model. Instead of treating a single allergy with a uniform dose, we utilize advanced Molecular Protein Mapping to analyze millions of individual data points. This allows our clinical teams to engineer a highly personalized roadmap tailored specifically to your child’s unique immune signature—safely guiding them toward long-term remission, even across complex, multi-allergen profiles.

Progress in medicine comes from personalization, not standardization. Our doors are open, our safety protocols are as rigorous as ever, and our commitment to helping your family live freely without fear is unwavering. 🌟

If your family has been following this news and feeling uncertain about your next steps, please let us know your thoughts or questions in the comments below. We are here to support you every step of the way. 👇

As a food allergy parent, you are used to carrying a heavy, invisible weight every single day. You check every single label, vet every new environment, and constantly calculate risks just to keep the ones you love safe. ❤️

Because we know how much heart, dedication, and hyper-vigilance goes into this process, seeing the feedback left by our patient community means the world to our entire team.

We wanted to take a moment to look back and highlight some of the beautiful messages of gratitude our families have shared recently. Hearing how the Tolerance Induction Program® (TIP) has restored confidence to your households—allowing for spontaneous road trips, worry-free school days, and simple family dinners—is a powerful reminder of why we push the boundaries of medicine.

To our families: thank you for your trust, your courage, and for being such an uplifting community. You are rewriting what the future looks like for the next generation of allergy care. 🌟

If you could send a quick note of appreciation to a specific nurse, clinician, or staff member who has made a difference in your journey, who would it be? Let’s share some love and gratitude in the comments below! 👇
