Autism Acceptance Month isn’t about “more awareness.” It’s about "better support."

Autism is a "neurodevelopmental" condition, so many of the things labeled as “behavior” are often the nervous system communicating something real: sensory overload, communication barriers, motor planning load, anxiety, or dysregulation.

So the question isn’t:
"How do we stop this behavior?”
It’s:
“What is the nervous system asking for and what helps this child feel safe, regulated, and capable?”
