Today's First Nations Animal Medicine card (Jamie Sams & David Carson) of the day is number 30 for Rabbit and FEAR. If you pulled Rabbit, stop talking about horrible things happening and get rid of "what if" in your vocabulary. This card may signal a time of worry about the future or of trying to exercise your control over that which is not yet in form - the future. Stop now! In the contrary position, if you have tried to resolve a situation in your life and are unable to, you may be feeling frozen in motion. This may indicate a time to wait for the forces of the universe to start moving again. I want to tell you what I tell myself when things don't go my way in life in terms of when people don't do the things I want them to do. For example, I recently wasn't called back to work one day and I didn't get the scholarships I applied for at the community college where I'm taking a Spanish class. Instead of just being mad at the people who rejected me, I often think well, this is God who is redirecting my path and it's not the people themselves. I tell myself, its not them rejecting me, its God!!!

I want to tell you about this wild coyote 🐺 I saw at work on the cliffs at the beach in San Clemente. I had picked the native American card of the coyote that morning which was some synchronicity if I ever saw it. The Native American card said that coyote takes our prayers to the gods and brought fire from great spirit by tricking Great Spirit with cleverness and astuteness. I was showing the coyote to 4 of my coworkers who were driving by in the golf cart and they said they were coyotes too. Those men better consider themselves very smart to be symbolized by coyotes!

For some reason it seems like the seagulls cast a large Shadow when they fly overhead compared to other birds! Even birds like the pelicans and the hawks don't seem to cast such a big shadow as the seagulls. It's quite the conundrum to me!
