I’ll start: I think mine would be making sure my child never feels like he has to be perfect to make me proud.

I want him to know that mistakes are okay, feelings are okay, and he can always come to me without being scared of how I’ll react.

Trying to raise him with the kind of emotional safety I wish more of us had growing up. 🤍

What about you? What’s one thing you’re choosing to do differently with your kids?

Screening isn’t the finish line.
Knowing how to ask the question gets you in the door. Knowing what to do with the answer is what actually protects mothers.

If you’re a therapist, doula, social worker, or provider who wants to respond with real skill, not just good intentions, this training is for you. 🤎

Seats are limited for our Perinatal Mental Health Training on September 18. Don’t wait until the answer is in front of you to figure out what’s next.

August had us out in community, and we’re still full from it. 🤎

From baby showers to conference stages, we spent the month connecting with the people who make this work matter, Black families, birthing people, providers, advocates, and organizers pouring into maternal and reproductive health.

📍 SGV AAIMM Community Baby Shower & Back-to-School Festival
📍 BWWLA Reproductive Justice Conference — featuring Dr. Jaih Craddock presenting “Why Mental Health Must Be Central to Reproductive Justice for Black Mothers”

Grateful to every family, provider, and advocate we connected with along the way. The work continues. 🤎
