Five-year-old Hadley had the opportunity to be the Honorary Bat Kid at a recent Angels game!

Born with a rare and serious congenital heart condition, Hadley received specialized care through our Children’s Heart Institute at MemorialCare Miller Children’s & Women’s Hospital. Today, she’s thriving and loves making friends, playing outside, and taking gymnastics classes.

Known for her bright smile and kind heart, Hadley inspires everyone she meets. Thanks for being an amazing Bat Kid, Hadley!

Today, she’s thriving as she loves making friends and playing outside and inspires everyone she meets with her bright smile!

We had an incredible time celebrating our annual Congenital Heart Disease (CHD) Skin-to-Skin-a-Thon, Camp Cuddles!

Together with heart families across the country, we spent two weeks fostering connection, healing, and support through skin-to-skin contact and positive touch. From our Paint & Sip Night for parents and caregivers to s'mores handprints, camp festivities, and other fun activities, Camp Cuddles created meaningful opportunities for heart families to come together, share experiences, build connections, and support one another.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this year's celebration so special for our heart families.

Our Small Baby Unit, home to the Tiny Baby Program, provides highly specialized NICU care for the tiniest and most fragile newborns, including micro-preemies and extremely low birthweight babies weighing as little as 2.2 pounds (about the size of a soda can).

Designed to mimic the womb, the environment features low light and reduced noise to support growth and development. Dr. Mohammad Adnan, Director of the Tiny Baby Program, and Tera Philippart, RN, share how this specialized approach and expert team help babies thrive.
