🧡 What does the strategy of COMMENTING look like during a playdough activity?

🗣️ What to do:
Talk about what you and your child are doing, looking at, playing with, or touching.

💡 Why?
Using simple language during play gives children meaningful words they can use again when they experience the activity in the future.

The more opportunities children have to hear and experience language in context, the more opportunities they have to use those words themselves!

✨ Instead of asking lots of questions, try simply commenting on what’s happening!
