🐴 There’s more to a horse’s nose than you might think.
A horse’s soft muzzle is filled with sensitive nerves and whiskers that help them explore what’s directly in front of them. Those tiny whiskers provide important information about their surroundings—even when their eyes can’t see what’s right beneath their nose.
And that sensitivity is part of what makes working with horses so meaningful.
During equine therapy, we learn to slow down and pay attention to the small things—a change in body language, a gentle touch, a moment of hesitation, or the beginning of trust.
Sometimes connection doesn’t need words. It starts with simply being present. 🤎🐴
