📚✨ Embracing the Writer Within

Residents and staff enjoyed an engaging ELEVATE Lifelong Learning Program at Glenmeadow with Jena Schwartz, a poet, author, coach, artist, blogger, educator, and self-described “lover of humanity.”

Jena, who has self-published three collections of poetry, shared her passion for words, language, and storytelling. During the program, she invited residents and staff to participate in a writing prompt, creating an opportunity to put pen to paper, share thoughts and ideas, and explore their own creativity.

It was a wonderful afternoon of reflection, conversation, and creative expression as we embraced the writer within!

Brenda is a respected Western Massachusetts leader and former WWLP-22News anchor. Following her distinguished broadcasting career, she mentored the next generation of communicators as a professor at Western New England University.

Brenda continues to support organizations throughout our region and remains an active presence in the Western Massachusetts community.
