Hi everyone! I’m Debbie, a Licensed Practical Nurse with 20 years of nursing experience, and I’m the owner of Golden Years Senior Foot Care.

Today is a special day for me because it marks 20 years since I graduated from nursing school. 🩺

Over the last two decades I’ve worked in home health, hospice, wound care, assisted living, memory care, and now I’ve combined my nursing experience with a service that helps seniors maintain healthy, comfortable feet.

Golden Years Senior Foot Care provides gentle, nurse-led foot care for seniors in their homes, independent living, assisted living, and memory care communities throughout Northern Colorado.

Even though my own mother in NY has my two sisters and I checking in on her daily!!!… she’d always say “everything is just fine! I don’t need anything!” Yet look at the before and after photo that I took this past weekend. I see this ALL THE TIME!! Seniors do NOT want to be a burden and will not tell you how painful their toes are! It’s truly up to us to lay eyes on them IRL to understand how much they really DO need some gentle care. Tonight I had the privilege of helping two residents at Balfour Senior Living after their podiatrist was unable to make it.

It reminded me how many seniors quietly struggle with painful, overgrown toenails and never mention it to their families.
