BACKCoach

BACKCoach BACKCoach: The Way Back to a Healthy, Active Life. Mary understands what it’s like to live with chronic back pain.

While working as a biomechanist, ergonomist and national trainer, developing back injury prevention and rehabilitation programs, Mary was in an automobile accident that triggered 14 years of back pain. After enduring the frustration of going from practitioner to practitioner, seeking relief and attaining only short-term results, Mary undertook seven years of study, investigating the origins of bac

k pain and the actions that could be taken to achieve complete relief and resumption of full activity. What Mary discovered is that back pain, in nearly all cases, is the result of a combination of physiological responses resulting from incorrect beliefs, and the contributing factors that led to the ‘triggering event’ and chronic pain. Mary learned that, in order to achieve complete relief of back pain – so that you live as if you have never had a “bad back” – you must (1) understand and address your beliefs and your natural responses to the pain, and (2) address and correct the underlying contributing factors that led to the pain. BACKCoach provides a wellness-coaching based process that guides each client to understand what is happening in their body and make the changes necessary to achieve lifelong relief. BACKCoach is available to everyone with chronic back pain in through the following.

I remember it so clearly: staying back, in pain, miserable because the life I once knew was gone. It had been 14 years since the car accident and I was still in pain.

I longed for my old life and grew more and more discouraged as the years went by, as I went from practitioner to practitioner, without relief.

I remember the feelings of hopelessness as I wondered if this was what my life would always be like, as I slowly gave up hope of it ever improving.
