What if your child got a report card, not on their grades in school, but on their health?

Focus: F. Sleep: F. Breathing: D. Energy: D. Behavior: C-.

Most parents would fight for answers. But the answers are not in the classroom. They are in the airway.

At Rebis Health, we see children every day whose struggles with attention, behavior, and energy trace back to a single root cause: they are not breathing well at night. And nobody has connected the dots yet.

Swipe through to see what is behind each grade, and what can actually be done about it.

Your tongue is doing something right now that could be quietly collapsing your airway, and you have never been told about it.

Most people have no idea that where your tongue rests in your mouth directly shapes the size and health of your airway. When it sits low instead of at the roof of your mouth, it can contribute to snoring, poor sleep quality, and even facial underdevelopment in children.

At Rebis Health, we do not just treat the symptom. We find the root cause.

Want to know if your tongue posture is affecting your sleep? Comment the word AIRWAY below and we will send you everything you need to get started.

You have tried the supplements.

You track your sleep every night.

You have a wind-down routine most wellness influencers would envy.

And you are still exhausted in the morning.

Sleepmaxxing has made sleep optimization a consumer obsession. Some of it is grounded in real science. A lot of it is not. And almost none of it addresses the one thing that could actually be disrupting your sleep at its root.

Swipe through for an honest, evidence-based breakdown of what the research actually says about the most popular sleep trends right now.

This breakdown comes straight from our Chief Medical Officer, David McCarty, MD, FAASM, one of the leading voices in sleep medicine today.

Save this. Share it with the person in your life who has tried everything and still cannot figure out why they are so tired.

Breath by Breath | Episode 4 🌙

One month post-MARPE and the results are already speaking for themselves.

A gap between the front teeth means the palate is expanding and with that expansion comes something most patients don’t expect to feel so soon: the ability to actually breathe through their nose.

For this patient, that shift meant going from waking up multiple times a night to sleeping straight through. No oral appliance. No interruptions. Just rest, the way it’s supposed to feel.

This is what Root Cause care looks like in real time. We’re not masking symptoms. We’re creating the structural space your airway was always meant to have.

And this is only month one.

45–50%. That’s the national CPAP compliance rate. And honestly? It’s not surprising.

Most patients are handed a machine without ever understanding why their sleep is broken, or which type of sleep apnea they’re actually dealing with. Because there are two: obstructive and central. And treating them the same way doesn’t work.

At Rebis, we go deeper. Our multidisciplinary team identifies the root cause of your sleep challenges and fine-tunes treatment around your biology, not a one-size-fits-all protocol. That’s why our compliance rate is over 85%.

Dr. Dave McCarty breaks it down because when you truly understand what’s happening in your body, healing becomes possible.

You deserve more than a machine on your nightstand.

You deserve answers.

The night Adam woke up and everything changed.

His youngest daughter had crawled into bed. And somewhere in the middle of the night he realized she couldn’t breathe.

She had been telling him for years.

Not with words. With her thumb. With her fingers pressed against the roof of her mouth, night after night, in a subconscious attempt to widen the very airway that wasn’t giving her enough room to breathe.

Thumb sucking is one of the most misunderstood behaviors in pediatric development. We correct it. We use appliances to stop it. We call it a bad habit.

But what if it was never a habit at all?

What if it was a child’s body doing the only thing it knew how to do to survive the night?

This is what airway dentistry asks us to see. Not the behavior on the surface but the structural story underneath it.

If your child sucks their thumb, breathes through their mouth, snores, grinds their teeth, or struggles to sleep through the night, their body may be trying to tell you something.

Listen to it.

Your nose is doing something your mouth physically cannot. 👃

Dr. David McCarty breaks down 3 reasons nasal breathing changes everything and none of them are what most people expect.

R — Rest. Breathing through your nose activates the parasympathetic nervous system. That is rest and digest. Mouth breathing keeps you in fight or flight. All day. All night.

A — Air. Nasal breathing makes oxygen more bioavailable. Meaning the oxygen you breathe actually gets into your system more effectively. That is not a small thing.

D — Development. In children, nasal breathing shapes the face. The tongue rests on the palate. The jaw develops wider. The airway stays open. Mouth breathing does the opposite.

Three letters. One habit. Enormous consequences.

If you or your child breathes through their mouth, this reel is worth two minutes of your time.

If you are exhausted, foggy, and struggling to think clearly, your sleep is not just a comfort issue. It is a brain issue. 🧠

Adam, our CEO and founder at Rebis Health, breaks down why brain fog is one of the most misunderstood symptoms in medicine.

Most people blame stress. Aging. Being busy.

The research points somewhere else entirely.

When your airway is obstructed and your sleep is fragmented, your brain cannot complete its overnight cleaning cycle. Toxic proteins accumulate. Cognitive performance drops. The fog sets in.

And the part that changes everything: in many cases, the cause is structural. Which means it is treatable.

This is one of the most important things we share. Watch it twice if you have to.

Follow Rebis Health for more on the sleep-brain connection. Because what happens in your airway at night does not stay there.

24 hours post-procedure. And Adam has something to say to everyone who has been putting this off out of fear.

It really is not that bad.

He will be the first to tell you the discomfort is real. He is not going to pretend otherwise. But manageable is the word he keeps coming back to. And now, just one day out, he is already looking forward to starting the expansion process.

This is what it looks like when the person recommending the procedure has actually been through it.

If fear has been the thing standing between you and finding out whether MARPE could change your life, let this be the post that moves you one step closer.
