Whitney Nicole Holcomb, 43, entered the gates of Heaven on October 14, 2026. She was born on January 6, 1983, in Longview, Texas.

Whitney leaves to cherish her memory her beloved parents, Tony and Vickie Holcomb, and her two beautiful daughters, Chloe and Trinity Holcomb, who were the most precious parts of her life.

She is also lovingly remembered by her grandparents, Howard and Johnny Irwin; her sisters, Rachel Parker and Courtney Holcomb; and her cherished nieces, Loxlee, Marlee, and Emerie.

Whitney will be deeply missed and forever remembered by her family. The love they shared will remain in their hearts always, and her memory will continue to be a treasured part of their lives

JOHN L. KRAUSE, SR. (JACK)

JACK WENT TO BE WITH HIS WIFE ANN IN HEAVEN ON OCTOBER 13, 2026, AT 93 YEARS OLD. JACK GRADUATED BEDFORD HIGH SCHOOL IN BEDFORD, OHIO, IN 1951. HE WAS A VETERAN OF THE UNITED STATES MARINE CORPS; PROUDLY SERVED DURING THE KOREAN WAR AND WAS ONE OF THE ELITE EMBASSY MARINES IN SAIGON, VIETNAM.

HE MET HIS WIFE ANN (LAVERGNE) WHILE ON DUTY THERE. THEY MARRIED IN 1955 AND HAD FOUR CHILDREN. JACK WORKED AS A CIVIL ENGINEER AND SURVEYOR AND WAS A PARTNER AT FRANK B. KRAUSE, JR. & ASSOCIATES IN BEFORD, OHIO. IN 1969, HE LEFT OHIO FOR FLORIDA AND WORKED AS CHIEF SURVEYOR FOR DELTONA CORPORATION DEVELOPING SPRING HILL, FLORIDA. IN 1976, JACK WENT TO WORK FOR SAUDI ARABIAN AMERICAN OIL COMPANY IN DHAHRAN, SAUDI ARABIA, RETIRING IN 1987 AND RETURNING TO HIS HOME IN SPRING HILL, FLORIDA. JACK WAS PREDEASED BY HIS WIFE ANN, HIS SON, JOHN L. KRAUSE, JR. AND HIS DAUGHTER, LISA KRAUSE KELL.

HE IS SURVIVED BY HIS DAUGHTER, COLLEEN MCCOURT (PATRICK), AND MARK KRAUSE. SIX GRANDCHILDREN AND NUMEROUS GREAT-GRANDCHILDREN. HE WILL BE MISSED BY ALL AND REMEMBERED AS A KIND SOUL WITH A GENTLE NATURE AND ALWAYS HAVING A SENSE OF HUMOR.

MILITARY BURIAL AND CELEBRATION OF HIS LIFE WILL BE ANNOUNCED AT A LATER DATE.

REMEMBERANCE GIFTS CAN BE DONATED TO ST. JUDE’S CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL IN HIS NAME.

Bobby Joe Griffin '63'

Bobby Joe Griffin 63, of Longview Texas, was born on January 26th, 1963, in Matagorda County Texas. He went to be with the lord on Tuesday October 6th, 2026, in Longview Texas.

Bobby will be remembered for his unconditional love and kindness that he showed others.

He enjoyed his early morning bike rides and volunteering to help others in the one love community.

He is survived by his best friend Sheila Griffin of Mt.Pleasant; Daughter and Son-in-law Sheena and Bobby Vaughn of Hughes Springs TX, Daughter Jennifer Griffin of Smackover Arkansas, Sons and Daughter-in-law Michael and Paula Griffin of Carthage TX, Shawn and Cindy Griffin of Panama City FL, Sons, Ricky Griffin of Dallas TX, and Joseph Griffin of McLeod, TX. And numerous grandkids and nieces and nephews.

The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not want.

He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters. He restores my soul: He leads me in the paths of righteousness for His name's sake.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.

You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies;

You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over.

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me All the days of my life;

And I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.

Casey Zolyn, 23, passed away on October 1, 2026. He was born on August 15, 2003, in Kilgore, Texas.

Though his life was brief, Casey’s memory will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. His passing brings deep sorrow to those who shared in his life.

He is survived by Melissa Sanchez and Micha Zolyn, both of Longview, Texas; Jenifer Coward of Kilgore, Texas; and his siblings, Ceannie Sanchez, Rosa Sanchez, and Christopher Sanchez, all of Longview, Texas.

May his memory be carried forward with love, gratitude, and enduring remembrance.
