Creating a group for mothers has been a dream of mine since I decided to become a counselor. It’s inspired by my own experiences of motherhood—the joys, the challenges, and everything in between. It’s an honor and a privilege to lead this group, and I hope it will be a welcoming space where women feel heard, connected, and supported as they find their own way to flourish in motherhood.

You don’t have to struggle alone. Cortney Johnson, LPC with Kairos Therapy Group is leading this group to support and offer hope to women in relationships who have experienced betrayal after s*x addiction. More details ⬇️ here.

Mending After Betrayal

Betrayal can change the way you see your relationship, yourself, and what you thought was true.

This is why we're creating an 8-week therapist-led group to give women space to process what happened, work through grief and self-blame, rebuild self-trust, and get clearer about what they need moving forward.

You don’t have to know whether the relationship will survive to begin discovering how you will.

Begins October 28
Wednesdays | 5:00–6:30 PM
Longview, TX
Led by Cortney Johnson, LPC

Feeling safe is more than knowing you’re not in danger.

Your partner closes the door harder than usual. You know they’ve had a hard day, but your shoulders tense, your stomach drops, and you scan their face for what comes next.

That’s the gap between knowing you’re safe and feeling safe.

Felt safety doesn’t mean never getting unsettled. It means being able to return to the present and recognize: I don’t have to brace right now.

That trust can take time and repeated experiences of care and consistency. You don’t have to force it or dismiss your discomfort.

Honor your pace and the pace of those you love.
