Our residents had a sweet time in Baker’s Corner whipping up double chocolate cupcakes together. When chocolate is on the menu, everyone is ready to roll up their sleeves and dig in!

Art with Heart was in full swing at The Eastman, and this week’s creations were extra meaningful! ❤️

Our residents had so much fun designing and personalizing their own custom beaded keychains. No two were alike! Some added their own names, while others chose their children’s initials, the name of someone special, or meaningful words like love and family.

Creative activities like these are about so much more than making something beautiful. They give our residents an opportunity to express themselves, share stories, and create something personal they can proudly use every day.

Every three weeks, our residents at The Eastman look forward to visiting the library—whether they’re searching for a new book, browsing the shelves, or simply enjoying a relaxing ride around Longview.

One of the best parts? Our residents can enjoy access to fresh reading material. And for some, the outing isn’t even about the books—it’s about getting out, seeing the sights, and enjoying time with friends. ❤️

Early mornings are worth it when a movie adventure is waiting! 🎬🍿

On the first Thursday of each month, local law firm Goudarzi & Young, LLP hosts the Silver Screenings Club at AMC in Longview, giving adults 55+ the chance to enjoy a morning at the movies while giving back to the community. Admission is just two canned goods or nonperishable food items—then it’s time to grab the popcorn and find a seat!

This month, Leslie and Harold were up bright and early and ready for a fun outing to see The Odyssey. We love finding opportunities around Longview that keep our residents connected, active, and enjoying new experiences together. ❤️
